Who do I want to win?

My prop bets

I am curious how much money odds makers make on prop bets. I assume it is a lot given how hard I hear them pushed in ads and what I assume are guerilla ads (sports talk radio hosts talking about all their prop bets).

Drowning in data, but thirsting for knowledge

Your instincts are correct.  Here are the data on parlays, from yesterday's Wall Street Journal:

FanDuel, which controls about half of the national online betting market, according to Eilers & Krejcik, leads the industry due in part to its success capitalizing on parlays. Last October in Illinois, for example, seven out of every 10 bets placed at FanDuel was a parlay, according to data published by the state’s gaming board. FanDuel made about $29.60 for every $100 bet on parlays, compared with $4.80 for every $100 in non-parlay bets.

N.B. Sorry to post about  "FanDuel" rather than "FanDual".  That's their name.  😏

On two stand alone bets, or two parlays, or two elements of one parlay that has two elements, or two elements of a parlay that has more than two elements? Have you lost on any? We need a full accounting.

The fumble recovery for a TD sure looked like a catch.  Would have been years ago...

Plus why is the rule 2 feet down on sideline but 3 in middle of field?
