Obviously he's going back to qualify for the FS trials, but he's literally back to back number 2 in Greco. You don't do that without having a long term interest in Greco. Not threatening in the finals two years in a row is probably closer to making the team than dealing with Spencer Lee and Luke Lilledahl in 2027. By the way, he's probably the favorite to win the Farrell at 57kg

I like Zane… I lived in a dorm room with the entire Illinois RTC at LOG for a Greco camp put on by Ivanon in late 2021… I had a conversation with Zane in Vegas after he made the world team in free in 2023… of course he has more than just a passing interest in Greco… he won both styles at Fargo… I don’t think you can train at Illinois with Medlin without being subjected to Greco… he made two national teams in Greco after making a world team leg grabbing… None of that changes what is clearly happening…

Shelby was a personal coach of a good friends dad growing up... used to take him all over and foot the bill for his wrestling... this dude beat zalensky and manning at college opens... wrestled Lee Kemp and even has a super brief pic in the Kemp doc... the dirtiest old man wrestler i have ever met and just a gorilla especially his grip... he would routinely challenge the guys practicing... everyone of them was warned do not wrestle that old man, he cheats... otto fell for it once... love that dude... got to hang out with him and his wife in vegas...
