( obviously I’m not looking for well dake beat zahid 2/3 ) … we all know we saw the best guy at 86 for 4 min then he just was crippled by gas tank issues … and nolf vs Levi idk who wins that, Levi prob small fave still  ,  have they faced off ?

The funny thing is this could be describing Zahid or Kadiev

Nolf isn't interested brother. He said as much. Why would anyone pick a duo where one already said he isn't interested?  Why do you continue to correct when it isn't necessary?  :classic_dry:

or #5 and #26...

but, who is really paying attention...

Not sure what rankings you’re looking at anyone with eyes knew him and Levi were 79 # 1 in 2 in the world going into today and it’s not debatable…. Shakur Stevenson wasn’t ranked by any sanctioning body going into his last fight everyone knew he was # 1 140 lb boxer on the planet … 5 and 26 lol i expected more from you LBJ

well, i look at the actual UWW rankings...

because those are the ones that are used for seeding at worlds...

made up rankings to bolster an imaginary debate feels a little foolish to me...

but you do you, boo!!!

Bro? You're the corrector. You asked a question. I gave my answer AND the reasoning why.  Another gave an answer and you corrected?  I'm super, "chill." You're coming off not "chill." :classic_huh:

I am more confident with Zahid against the field given that he has now beaten everyone that is in the medal conversation (Dhizoev, Ghas, Kadiev) Kyle has lost to Dhizoev and Kadiev although one could argue he is wrestling better now than he was in Feb at the ranking series. As for Levi and Nolf I would still take Levi. If Nolf were all in on wrestling that could be a different story and while I think he looks incredible at RAF and the fact he was able to beat khaniev was crazy I largely thought Khaniev wreslted the better match ( I know stupid to say he lost). I think Levi has really done nothing besides further cement himself as a world title threat after the chance series and I think his path could potentially be through Khaniev but this match with Nolf did more to make me think that Khaniev is definitely still a 19 year old and Levi should be the favorite more than it made me feel like Nolf would be the better rep. Secondary thing I would like to add is NLWC does a sensational job at getting their guys ready for one person in a final x type of setting but I wish they would stop because I think probably far less often than not it puts a guy on the team that may not do as well against the rest of the world.

Well hoooo buddy do I have some good news for you.

But the results since implementing Final X vs prior would strongly disagree with you.

How do we think Nolf and Levi do against the 86 KG domestic field?

"I know actually nothing.  It isn't even conjecture at this point." - me

RIght now, as is?

Nolf would 60% make it to quarters, maybe semis depending on draw. He's as talented as they come but he's older, out of competition shape and technique sharpness, and most importantly weight classes exist for a reason. He could get bullied out of the gym if he runs into the wrong guy out the gate. 8 of the 9 guys listed below would beat Nolf at 86 in a tourney.

Haines would be semis or better. I hope he is on a two year full-functional feed to go up to 86 where he has a great shot at making the olympic team. His competition by OTT will be another year older Zahid, another year younger Dake, Keckeisen, McEnally, Sinclair, Marstellar, Welsh, and maybe Barr attempts the cut but I doubt it.
