With Measles cases on the rise this much, do you think the dept of health and anti-vax crowd has gone a little too far and now you have ignorant people thinking that vaccines on the whole are bad?

Maybe this is a bit of Darwinism though and the dept of health is doing us a favor by thinning the heard of those that don't believe in science?

Its also being reported RFK jr ordered 2 recent measles deaths in PA be deleted from record and the CDC still keeps track which is what blew up his cover up.

Is 55,000 a big number?

1989–1991 Resurgence)
The largest post-vaccine measles epidemic in the U.S. occurred between 1989 and 1991, primarily fueled by low vaccination rates among young, preschool-aged children in low-income communities. [1]
  • Total Scale: Across the entire country, more than 55,000 cases were reported over this multi-year period, resulting in over 11,000 hospitalizations and 123 deaths.
  • Worst State Epidemic: California experienced the absolute worst localized impact during this wave. From 1988 through 1990, the state tracked 16,400 reported cases and 75 deaths.

Cool, that was 35 years ago. We are now having a resurgence of measles that happens to coincide with a campaign against vaccines by this dept of health. Do you not agree?

RFK is showing essentially zero leadership and is essentially dismissing it. Very sad and 110% incompetent

:Under HHS leadership, some federal health communication and advisory panels have changed. For instance, critics and independent medical organizations point out that federal websites and agencies have featured messaging that questions established scientific consensus or highlights discredited links between vaccines and autism

Thank you, sometimes they just scream into the void without even trying to do their own research or fact checking!

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has repeatedly questioned the safety and effectiveness of the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine despite strong scientific consensus supporting its use. [1, 2]

RFK Jr.'s Claims About the Measles Vaccine

Kennedy has stated that the vaccine has not undergone proper safety testing.

He claims that immunity from the MMR vaccine fades quickly.

He has also suggested without evidence that the vaccine causes yearly deaths and contains fetal tissue

My $0.02...I honestly haven't thought or seen JFK on a campaign against vaccines...I guess I don't do mental gymnastics to try and twist his words into something more. Also, regardless of what he says I don't understand the need to let what someone says, especially a politician, guide me on what vaccines I should or shouldn't take... especially the measles vaccine that has been around for a very long time. If parents are out there not vaccinating their children, it's their choice, then it's on them in terms of what happens because of their choice. Unfortunately kids are born everyday to shitty parents.

Agreed- like I said, natures way of thinning the heard and it's unfortunate kids are paying that price from their brain dead parents.

Kennedy highly recommends getting the measles vaccination, but he also thinks that it would be safer to break up the combination MMR vaccine, like many other countries have, until more studies can be done to confirm its safety.
