JMill Posted June 14 Posted June 14 (edited) Caleb Smith comes out fast with a TD and lace to go ahead 4-0 over Harutunyan. Harutunyan comes right back with a takedown then a four then another TD and lace to end the first 10-4. Harutunyan with a takedown and lace in the open the second for a 14-4 tech. Props to Smith for stepping in late to take on a tough opponent, with Higuchi having to drop out. Probably should’ve given Harutunyan to DeSanto (but understand making him wrestle a match before going for the belt). Edited June 14 by JMill

JMill Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Sharipov vs Yonger… Yonger looks small and doesn’t have any backne. Must’ve got off the juice. 1-0 Yonger (shot clock) after one… bunch of hand fighting. Dan Gable in the house! Sharipov puts Yonger out cold with a front head choke. Yonger doesn’t expose (or get pinned) like Parris. Still 1-0. More hand fighting. Sharipov with a shot clock and a four to end the second up 5-1. Yonger in deep multiple times but can’t finish. Yonger with a takedown. In deep again Match ends 5-3 Sharipov. Good showing by Yonger. 1

Alirez gets a reversal to end the first 3-2, Alirez. Aline’s with a takedown to open the second to go up 5-2. Shane mansplains to female announcer there’s a difference between a takedown and exposure. Alirez back on the clock in the third. Eierman just can’t score and loses 5-3. 1
