This is true.   Warren is wanting to hold up appointments because they don't have enough info to vet them.   What about Platner?  She ran full force forward to support Platner while not knowing a thing about him.  Is she cognizant of anything going on?  Most people want to be intellectually honest.   For the Ds that is an old fashioned notion.

If people were forced to pick just one label, “progressive Democrat” is likely the one most people would identify with Elizabeth Warren first. “Establishment Democrat” is a secondary description that refers more to her current position and influence than to her ideology.

So what’s your point?   Warren isn’t prominent in the Democratic Party?

You’re the one moving the goalposts to “prominent.”  I said “establishment.”  Which is accurate, considering the party itself, literally, didn’t endorse him until after the primary.

I would venture to say she is not prominent in the Democratic Party any longer…

All I listed endorsed him.  If you’re  saying Schumer and Warren aren’t “establishment” then you’re an idiot

I didn’t say Schumer.  He’s establishment.   Warren is not.  Schumer endorsed Mills btw, he didn’t endorse Platner until over a month after Mills dropped out and only one week before the primary.  Platner said he wouldn’t vote for Schumer as the party leader. Looks like your AI failed you.

A Democratic senator allied with Warren, who requested anonymity to comment on frictions with Schumer, says there’s growing concern among some progressive Senate Democrats that Schumer and Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) Chair Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.) are too aligned with corporate interests.

The senator also said that Schumer’s prize recruit to run against Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) in the Maine Senate race, Democratic Gov. Janet Mills, was completely out of step with the Democratic Party’s grassroots.

The source said Mills’s age — 78 — raised issues right from the start after Democrats saw then-President Biden, who was 81 at the time, falter in a critical debate against Trump in 2024.

“She had no grassroots energy at all. Zero. She’s a conservative, business-oriented Democrat at a time when the energy of the party, on the ground, the grassroots side is not interested in that. They want the system shaken up,” the senator said.

Warren has endorsed three Democrats in Senate primaries who have said they will not support Schumer serving another term as leader: Graham Platner in Maine, Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton in Illinois and state Sen. Mallory McMorrow in Michigan.

Schumer, meanwhile, backed Platner’s opponent, Mills, in the Maine Democratic primary and supports Rep. Haley Stevens in the Michigan Democratic primary.

Prove that she’s not prominent? She’s best known for a failed Presidential run and well you know…she’s more established than anything but even then I don’t think she’s affecting much of anything.

I think she’s more progressive but to me that’s what establishment dems are now. And I think she’s best known for being Native American.
