I’ve watched some Kyler’s YouTube vids (pretty good production quality btw).  In one of them I think he said something like he has better practice partners at Valiant than ASU.

If they leave my guess would be ISU.  They already have a couple Valiant guys, are losing Zerban at 157 and Frost seemingly can’t make 133

That's a good fit actually. Hadn't thought of that one.  I always thought they would have done really well under Askren (not that he is a college coach). I dont' think the Larkins have ever left the area. I think that Eric was already assisting there when they were born.

Have to think they both move up next year right?  Or at least at some point. I think the weight cut is going to keep killing them at Nationals.

Kaleb already moved up mid season to 157 from 149. I think that is a good weight for him. I could see Kyler going up to 141 though. He seems to have been around that 133 weight for several years.

Franek, Teemer, Parco, Peterson, Bailey, Williams all went down (Peterson was a 3x NQ and made it no further in the tournament than he did previously)

Caliendo, Buchanan and Woods went up...

Did I miss anyone?

Well as you said here, Peterson stayed the same.   I’d add Eierman and Desanto as having their best results at Iowa.

Eierman went up one spot but the guys that had beat him at previous NCAAs (Yanni and McKenna) either graduated or were no longer at the weight. He also lost to a guy (Nick Lee) he majored while at Mizzou.

Here’s one I would like to see, Ryder Rogotzke to Minnesota at 197. Ohio St has a 197 logjam as he was rumored to be moving up. I though Gavin Nelson would do better down the stretch but had a rough end to the season.

- Does Bouzakis move up and win the 141 spot? Is there anyone in the room that will challenge him for that? Davino looks big…don’t know how much he’s cutting.

- Do one of Luke Lilledahl/Nate Desmond transfer out?

- Will Marcus Blaze be ok with redshirting to let Ono start? After a 4th place finish, does he consider transferring out to be with his brother?

- Does anyone throw a ton of money at: Aden Valencia, Cross Wasilewsk, Caleb Campos, Cam Steed, Eddie Neitenbach, Aedeon Sinclair?

- Does Braeden’s scholarship get pulled and where does he transfer to?

- Does Angelo stay to be the face of Iowa or head to Nebraska with his brother? Or do they both go to VT?

- Does Feldman stay at tOSU or does he believe he can get over the hump/stay healthy somewhere else?

Who else?

When Valencia transfers to Iowa, and gets 5th next year I’ll be very annoyed. (Block goes 57)

Mizzou has enough to keep their heavy hitters. Theyre not a small program

Forgot about Dee Lockett. His style doesn’t seem to jive with DT’s expectations. Do they mutually part ways?

No. People are very reactionary. He’ll be fine

Lugo was number one seed Covid year.

Brody Teske was one escape away from all-American his senior year.  He did also make R12 as frosh at UNI but his middle two years were R16 and 1-2 and was definitely at his best the end of his senior year both in the B10s and NCAA.

Ryder Rogotzke def transfers. I find it hard to believe Brayden Thompson doesn’t as well

Michigan has now had a different transfer heavyweight AA (and finish higher than at their previous school) three years in a row.  Who do they get next year?   Does Amos still have eligibility?

I do t know that Rogotzke is any better than Nelson, but he’d certainly be more entertaining to watch!

LOL.... Wrestlers win national titles at Stanford and get a top notch education. That would be a lose lose

They have Sahakian #1 HWT coming out of highschool, who redshirted this year. I think they need to focus on filling those 125-141 & 197 holes. It’s not okay for Michigan to only send 6 guys.

Does Isaiah Powe come back to D1?  Beat Nasir Bailey at the Soldier Salute this year and was 25-4 as a true freshman two years ago.  I believe someone here mentioned he may have had some disciplinary issues.

Maybe he goes home to tOSU they're losing Paddy and Kharcela...

I know the PSU faithful stay and ride the pine every year, but I don’t know now. NIL going up, OkState looking “fun” as well, and the reality that they will transfer in over you as well has to be looming more. Does Kasak leave? Can Duke stay at 57 another year, or does he pull a Haines and jump 2 weights? MM willing to jump? Will Blaze or Lill be willing to RS or transfer? Desmond rode the pine, and gave the 125 National Champ his only loss. Is Casey’s boy willing to sit 2-3 years? Sealy could start on 65-70% of teams. Davis is obviously leaving if Ono is handed 141.

I’m sorry, but I’d rather start on a questionable team than ride the pine on the Champs’. Ask Drew Bledsoe how he feels about his Super Bowl Ring that Brady won. Same thing.

Amos does have one more year and I’d wish he leave but his father says he loves the coaching staff and is very loyal to Reader

And MM jumping, I meant weight not jumping ship.

Mitch isn’t going up , he’s the favorite at 74 kg in 2028 (163) he’ll be 165 again. Duke most likely redshirts with Kasak at 157 then the following year Kasak at 157 and Duke at 165. Will Henckel will be the 174 next year and the year after and will be a instant title contender according to Levi Haines

Also, why do so many people think Angelo will be interested in transferring? Have you seen his interviews? He LOVES Iowa and the Brands. And it's not like he was mistreated or mishandled. The Brands gave him all the time off he asked for when he got injured and allowed him to default at both the Big Ten tournament and NCAAs. To top it off, from what I've heard, Ferrari senior really likes the Brands as well

I agree he isn’t going anywhere. The speculation is because of his last name
