He just won his Cons. Semi's bout 7-3 and reminded of the semis. Hesitant, trouble finishing. He also spent the final 20 to 30 seconds dancing around and running away.

Nothing.  He had two TD's.  He widened the margin against Webster from earlier in the year.  Why is there something wrong with him except that fact that he was robbed yesterday?  If there is something wrong, it is your post

My post is fine but fair point on prior margin with Webster. He still looked hesitant to me.

Prior margin vs Webster was 4-2 so.... he improved?

Well 4-2 then 7-3 so yeah,  he's technically correct but philosophically I think the point is he didn't wallop KW before so what's my beef?

Just bonused Cannon for the third time this post-season.

You're biased though .. seriously, he looked great for third. I guess I thought he was through winning close matches after his whomping of Taylor.

Webster is really good and first match off the scale at 157 is always going to be PJ's worst look. Assuming he redshirts next season then goes 165 I think there is a good shot he never loses again. Also worth noting he is probably pretty dejected after last nights officiating and how that played out. I think Robideau gets it done in the finals and PJ clearly can go toe to toe with him so pretty great true freshman season to me.

I agree with Truzz .. there's another thing. In this age of super-frosh a season like PJ's ends up feeling like a disappointment when in fact he had a ridiculously strong season. Maybe his semis loss was a bump in the road or maybe Robideau is that good, after all he had two losses going into the tournament, one a TB vs Taylor and one in the Big12 finals vs Larkin, but by a point. Maybe this is the start of a beautiful rivalry

Brandon Cannon has got the skill, but needs to get on those PJ PEDs if he wants to compete with him. The strength difference is too much. I'm guessing PJ has a solid cocktail of test, SARMs, and peptides working in his favor.

Yes. Very confused by the original point of the post. You commented that PJ didnt look good as if he under performed in his match with Webster. Thier first time wrestling wrestling at BigTens it was a close 4-2 win. This time it was a 7-3 win. He technically did better this time, yet your post implies that hes regressed/under performed. Maybe Webster's style creates lower scoring low action matches against PJ.

Shout out to PJ for his mental strength finishing 3rd after being badly badly robbed in the semis.  A lesser man would have just MFF'd out.

*Cough cough* I see a pastry doing so low key bashing on a luxury brand high performance vehicle.

I absolutely read the whole thing. Your post didnt confuse me, the rationale for why it was even necessary to ask confused me when it holds very little merrit.

Teenagers being stronger than senior level athletes... Keep your head in the sand, my man. Don't tell me it's genetics, his parents are 400 lb muppets.

Maybe if I had asked "is there anything up with PJ Duke?" it would have been better. At the time I wrote it I was thinking that there was a moment (quarters?) where someone asked if he looked hurt. Also, the forum isn't exactly buzzing with activity at the moment.

Yea probably would have been a better way to go about it. During PSU's radio broadcast before the start of his semi with Robideau, Jeff Byers (host/commentator) mentioned Duke may have been hurt in the previous match.

You act like hes suddenly overnight because super strong due to PED usage at PSU. Quite a big accusation. The kid has been dominant since he was in 7th grade winning  high school state titles, yet you accuse PSU of providing him a cocktail of PEDs. The one who looks bad here is you.

Please find where I mentioned PSU in any of these accusations. Oh that's right, I didn't. I went to one of the nation's best wrestling schools and saw PED use amongst backups, starting in middle school. Multi time state champion was using and benching 315 for reps as 14 year old freshman. Go ahead and believe what you want, but you're an idiot if you think he's levels above everyone simply by hard work and whatever else you believe makes him strong as an ox.

Youre an idiot. You said the same thing about Barr.

But since you went to a school where it happened I guess its cool for me to accuse you of the same thing! Pokemonster the only reason why you ever won a wrestling match is because you were on PEDs. You even admit it was rampant at your school. This is a huge reflection of you as a person and no one else.

Shut up you f-in idiot.  Put up the evidence or go crawl back under your bed again.   He was a 4 time high school champ with one loss and is a U20 world champ.  Meanwhile, you were playing pokeman and crying because you couldn't make the JV team

Barr is an obvious example as well. Keep your head in the sand. With the unregulated peptide market and the age of the internet, acquiring this stuff is easier than ever.
