Well if you are right we may be in for a treat

For real. Seems like an intentionally low number to try to eliminate pay-to-play arrangements.

Because that doesn't get Mr. Pastry the clicks.

And again, could have easily been SIX if Lilledahl opted to try U20.

For real? I haven't quite caught up with what the new rules actually do.

What college fanbases are following freestyle now?
alex1fly replied to Jimmy Cinnabon's topic in College Wrestling
International freestyle is a mess. I've seen junior high sports that are better organized and better attended. It's embarrassing anytime I try to share it with a non-fan and annoying when I try to watch anything. This is where Flo has actually been helpful with being able to find replays. Though that takes someone to go through all the footage and upload/code each match separately which they don't always do but I'm grateful when they do! -
FIVE count'em 5 gold medals for the USA D3

Quite a few schools* were represented at this championship by kids representing other countries. It's really great to see "US" kids get a shot. Ayoub probably isn't in the top 5 of the US age group ladder but got his chance and took advantage with a medal. *not Iowa though.

I missed that result... he beat Saitiev 8-6 Impressive. D3

I get your point. But I don't think guys at that level think that way.
-
Blaze made easy work of this tournament- he has senior level class. Also, congrats to Puerto Rico's Omar Ayoub (by way of Ohio and Nebraska Huskers), who brought home Bronze hardware in this same weight class!
