  1. Past hour
  2. I understand that shallow is your specialty, but I do not have the first clue why they vote differently on presidential elections than gubernatorial ones. If you want to know, do some research. Don't just let others do the thinking for you.
  3. Yesterday
  4. https://nypost.com/2024/09/19/us-news/gop-north-carolina-lt-gov-mark-robinson-claimed-to-be-a-black-nazi-and-wanted-to-buy-slaves-as-sexist-racist-online-remarks-revealed/
  5. Hey! I resemble that remark!
  6. A your an idiot. B this topic is dumb. C old people bruise easier
  7. Show me the self described Nazi quote boss
  8. Two weeks for his skin to fall of first.
  9. 80 year olds bruise easily. But maybe he is dieing. I give 3.5 weeks.
  10. Deeper and deeper you go. The party registration numbers are due to voting rules. In Massachusetts, voters who are registered, but not as a dim or Republican, can vote in whichever primary they wish. In some states voters can only vote in the party primary they are registered as. That still doesn’t answer the question of why they vote for Republican governors and dim presidents. Dim gubernatorial candidates must be real whackos.
  11. @1032004 care to comment on the Google search about both events?
  12. So stop acting like you do know the number. And Sorry I don’t do X anymore. Too many nobodies on both sides there. But YOU already know that because you’re there all the time.
  13. What’s incredibly stupid is your lack of attention to this entire thread. Carry on woke boy.
  14. I don’t know the number. But I challenge you to find an x post complaining about AE/Sydney Sweeney with more likes than that.
  15. Incredibly stupid theory. Doesn't surprise me that you subscribe to it. Nobody bruises their hand from a firm handshake. You can't make these crazy whack job theories up.
  16. Since you’re so sure you know list the actual number for both sides.
  17. Thanks, that’s kinda what I figured but I’m not too familiar with MA. I know that’s been a similar story recently where I live in NC with the R Presidential candidate winning the last 4 races but the governor has been a D since 2017. Of course last year it wasn’t too difficult for the D candidate to defeat a self-described Nazi. But I also know NC has bad gerrymandering favoring the R’s.
  18. It’s obviously not an exact science and I know you don’t like x, but I would start by challenging people to find an x post with more likes than this one below which is at 90k+ (an actual post complaining about AE/Sweeney, not one making fun of the people that were mad about AE/Sweeney). I know earlier I’ve focused on the number of followers of the people saying it, but in response to the post from @JimmySpeaks above, people “liking” it shows they “care.”
  19. So far your argument for is cuz Trump said so. Meanwhile, the gerrymander project gives them an overall A grade and an A for partisan fairness. You are not bright, but you are loyal. A perfect Trump Republican.
  20. What has become most clear to me is there are a significant number of people here who completely don't understand what gerrymandering is. While they give evidence of the effects of it they think they are making an argument against it.
  21. What’s even more interesting about the handshake theory is that the other person knows Trump has a firm handshake and tries being as firm or firmer than he is. Wouldn’t that mean that both hands could bruise? I mean as a trained KGB agent Putin would know all the pertinent pressure points right? Also, if you watch handshakes there are occasions where one or the other (trump has done this as have others back to him) uses their second hand to come over the top of their counterparts hand. This could very well cause bruising on the top or the bottom if there’s enough pressure. Maybe we’re to believe two hands are stronger than four fingers or an individual thumb.
  22. As hard as concept it is for some here to grasp, there are a whooooooole lot of people who do not vote a straight line party ticket. There are a whooooooole lot of people that the stance on the issues is more important than the letter next to the name. There are also a whooooooole lot of people that understand the more local the election (mayor/city council vs governor vs president), the more direct impact it has on your life.
  23. My wife grew up on a farm in Iowa. She would love to go back. She likes Oregon and Florida too. I wouldn’t move to Portland though. That place is crazy
  24. Yes. From 1992-2024 a Democratic candidate has won Massachusetts every time with 60% - 66% of the vote. The last time a Republican won the presidential vote in Massachusetts was 1984 (Reagan vs Mondale). That is 10 straight elections where they voted for a Democratic candidate for president, yet in the same time they have had 5 Republican and 2 Democratic governors. The reality of Massachusetts is that 64% of voters are neither enrolled as Democrat or Republican. Meanwhile only 26% are registered as Democrat and only 8% are registered as Republican. So unlike the sheep @Offthemat and @El Luchador, sometimes they vote one way, sometimes they vote the other way. They clearly view state politics differently than national politics.
  25. I've spent time in most every state. There are so many wonderful areas in this country that politicians have made a living hell. Chicago has a wonderful vibe and so much to do but the trade off isn't worth it. Iowa isn't to far from Chicago I think that's where I'd set my roots if I was starting over. I like Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming but my wife has already decided our next home is going to be in Texas. It's so f'ing hot in the summer it's unbelievable.
  26. There’s no way to know the numbers one way or the other. Sorry. And even though you think the number of followers a social media nobody has actually counts it doesn’t prove any of those followers actually read it and even if they did that they cared. That being said a quick google search tells you that when comparing the two events the Sydney Sweeney topic had more severe discussions due to the racial accusations (eugenics) as where the cracker barrel discussions were more around the modern update to the logo. This would lead one to believe that there were more undies in a bunch over Sydney than Cracker Barrel https://www.google.com/search?q=was+sydney+sweeneys+jeans+ad+more+controversial+than+yhe+changing+if+thr+cracker+barrel+logo&rlz=1C9BKJA_enUS1057US1057&oq=was+sydney+sweeneys+jeans+ad+more+controversial+than+yhe+changing+if+thr+cracker+barrel+logo&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOdIBCTM0MzM4ajBqN6gCGbACAeIDBBgBIF_xBR1rdKZ_F2mx&hl=en-US&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8

Now they’re in hs or close and want to stay with friends. Etc. Wisconsin or Indy or somewhere warm. Maybe both lol 6/7 more years and I’m gone
