Why? People are talking about it here. He's a former Wrestler. I haven't glanced at the MMA board in a....long time.

Stop watching the MSM and look at what is happening. Ono is fine, and so is anyone who respects the law.

Uh, just because I was explaining current policy doesn't mean that I am not well-informed. In fact, I would say that it makes me better informed than you. You don't have to agree with the policy to admit it exists. First of all, I'm all for protest. I'm just saying "that's the way it is at the moment." But I'm also not opposed to asking guests to behave in a certain way. -

She really needs to step up her game. -
Maybe the amount he’s saying he cut was staged. It’d just be surprising to me if he’s considered “small” for 185. But maybe the other guys are just cutting a ton.
-
Also the other guy did wear an Iowa shirt, that probably caused some of their fans to also root “for” him and not just against Bo
-
This thread could go on the MMA board no?
-
Have you seen his last few fights? He is a bit on the short size and doesn't have the reach compared to many top 185. meanwhile the top guys also seem to also be more muscular in addition to the height and reach. When he was trying to wrestle 97 kg in Europe back in '21, he only weighed something like 208. That is with him trying to gain.
-
No one believes he cut what he said he cut. That looked staged and half the internet was saying that even pre fight. With that said he does look to be the smaller fighter all of his last 3 fights and this one pretty noticeably. I don’t think he can make 170 though. That seems crazy.
-
Yeah, because someone wrote something as stupid as 'as long as he doesn't protest.' That's where we are. The well informed electorate. 'He can be here... long as he doesn't say anything but good things about this country.' That doesn't sound authoritarian at all!
-
He wrestled 197 6 years ago, you really think he’s one of the smaller 185’s?
-
Who's#3 on the national team for 57 and 61 I thought WTT would qualify the third spot?
- Today

What would be a better weight for him? 170? Because he is one of the smaller 185s in UFC. (And he did not lose 30+ lbs this week) (Based on eye test, height, and reach)
-
Aaron actually recently signed with the UFC other than dislocating his shoulder against Jeremey Kennedy he has been on a tear, and I think he has a good shot of winning a belt. He is truly a complete fighter just may have chin issues and sort of got throw to the wolves when he was too green. My gauge on Bo which could probably be completely off base is that he is not pushing himself in training. He spends most of his time in happy valley likely training with the same guys that probably are not as good as him and then does the last few weeks of camp in florida which at that point I doubt they are giving him guys that can beat him so that his confidence is not shot. I know he trains with Johnny eblen which is great but thats a style that is probably fairly comfortable for him and who's to say how hard Eblen goes. As for RDR he held two belts in one for a reason he is very good and had a great gameplan he was constantly moving forward and throwing knees up the middle which probably made Bo apprehensive about lowering his level. The two most concerning things were seeing Bo get stuck underneath and have terrible body language to getting hit. You can be as good as you want but if you can't take getting hit you are not going to make it very far.
-
My brain is truly dead this morning because I cannot think of anything else to say beyond it's funny that Bo lost and Mineo spent an entire day crashing out on Iowa fans for the sake of someone who probably wouldn't look his way in public.
-
He did not lose 37 lbs in three days.

On Sunday evening, Ohio State received word that one of their home state’s best recent products was coming home to wrestle for the Buckeyes. Two-time NCAA qualifier Dylan Fishback announced yesterday that he intends to transfer from NC State to Ohio State. Fishback redshirted during his initial campaign in Raleigh and then jumped right into the NC State starting lineup at 184 lbs. He has finished as an ACC runner-up in both years of competition. Fishback also has been a match shy of All-American honors in both seasons, as well. His 2024-25 campaign came to an end with a 4-0 loss to Nebraska’s Silas Allred in the bloodround. For the year, Fishback went 16-8 with wins over past All-Americans and conference rivals - Gavin Kane (North Carolina) and TJ Stewart (Virginia Tech). His two-year mark for NC State was 36-17. With Fishback in the fold, the Ohio State staff could redshirt returning 184 lb starter Ryder Rogotzke and one of them could move up to 197 lbs in the 2026-27 season. In years past, Ohio State hasn’t been as aggressive in the transfer portal as other national powers; however, that’s changed in the offseason of 2025. Tom Ryan’s team has added All-American Ethan Stiles at 149, and 2024 Big 12 champion Cody Chittum at 157 lbs before getting Fishback. Barring head coaching changes, the portal has closed down for the offseason. There are still some notable names that can take as long as they need to announce a transfer destination - just no others can enter.

But at least you seem to acknowledge that the “9-0 in our favor” statement was a lie, @Offthemat. Kudos -

Not what I was responding to was it? Has any amendment or court decision ever been subjected to further interpretation by the Court? -

Not what he said, nor what the constitution says. -
Yeah but when he tried to wrestle, it's different than college because you can't do the same things, owing to the fact people can punch and knee you. So the way you wrestle has to change. I don't think he's adapted that fully yet.
-
For sure street fight is different to wrestling. If you want to be good at street fights learn to be good at street fights. If you want to be an athlete then wrestling is a good option. One has good life options other is a dead end.
