  1. Past hour
  2. Sure ... so stop eating vegetables ... eat beef.
  3. Training for a marathon is fun. It's just a bunch of long runs with friends.
  4. Under what circumstances would a non-citizen qualify for a SSN? I think this would only be permanent residents/green card holders, correct? I wouldn't think illegal immigrants qualify for one and would instead be issued a Individual Taxpayer ID Number (ITIN). These aren't actually SSNs, but have the same format as SSNs. The SSNs 900-00-0000 and above are reserved for ITINs and are not actually Social Security numbers. I am not sure why SSNs are such a focus for this effort. There will be a few issues with trying to use them to determine if a registered voter is eligible to vote in federal elections. They are not required of US citizens, so it is possible for a person to be eligible to vote without a SSN, though it will rarely be the case. More importantly they aren't required to register to vote in many places so not having an SSN matched with a voter registration will not be nearly as rare. Being unable to match a SSN with a registered voter doesn't mean the person is ineligible to vote. If the person registered to vote at the DMV and the person has a REAL ID compliant ID than a SSN would have been required, so it can be useful for people that registered in that manner. However many states still issue non-real IDs which cannot be used for ID Federal purposes, but can be used to drive and some people might have registered before REAL ID or have a older non-REAL ID that is unexpired.
  5. The sanctuary state I live in wouldn’t even take my drivers license. I offered it up and was told you don’t need it. They asked my name, I told them, They turned the IPad around towards me and asked “is this you and your correct address”? I said yes and was allowed to vote.
  6. Unlawfuls don’t belong here. Legal immigrants are more than welcome.
  7. POSTED ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2025 BY BILL GLAHN IN ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, MINNESOTA OPERATION TWIN SHIELD The U.S.Citizenship and Immigration Services agency issued an extraordinary press releasetoday. The headline, Where did these “bizarre schemes” take place? Why Minneapolis, of course. Details from USCIS, The schemes cover the waterfront, Alpha News reports, The findings “should shock all of America,” said USCIS Director Joseph Edlow, as quoted by Alpha News. But these findings shouldn’t surprise any resident of Minnesota. JOHN asks: Marriage fraud? Did they happen to mention anyone named Ilhan?
  8. Let “he/she trippie” ride with it. I think it’s impressive how I can post in here while I’m feeding homeless people. Phones aren’t allowed in the kitchen of the homeless shelter i volunteer at so I’m without a phone from approx 9:45 am to 1:15 pm central time. I love miracles.
  9. I never wanted to do a tri. Used to run 10k’s but stopped. I wanted to do a marathon when I started my new job ~8 years ago… but couldn’t convince a co worker to do it with me so I punted. I wonder how hard it is to train for a marathon? My ankles and knees aren’t in terrible shape ha…. Google says about 30-60 miles per week spread over 5 days for training. I have a buddy that does ultras 100 miles etc and the horror stories of chafing and pooping didn’t sound pleasant.
  10. Logical. mspart
  11. Yeah, they were picking a lot of crops there in south Chicago. These guys are really going to affect food prices across the country. However, the folks in that apartment area are probably celebrating their freedom. mspart
  12. Today
  13. Great video ... yes I have my tickets.
  14. I couldn't agree more. But, it does happen and a decision must be made on the future. The amount of pain endured by someone with that injury is intense. Not something you want to go around with for the rest of your life even with a possible Olympic gold on the line. That's my calculation. I can't imagine anyone else would do it differently. But others don't act or react they way I would to various things so it is an individual decision. My thought is if it has already happened, it will more easily happen again. No need to even go there in my opinion. I wish the best for Vito whatever path he chooses. mspart
  15. I always thought I'd do a tri event, most of my running friends did, figured the swim would be the hard training. Glad swim was first then if I drowned wouldn't have to do the bike run. However, had to give up running due to knee and switched to cycling so never did the a tri or swim training.
  16. You think these tren de aragua monsters belong here?
  17. I had to swim a mile once for a life saving merit badge in a lake in Wisconsin. Unpleasant ha. At least I was in wrestling shape so it wasn’t super bad.
  18. Problem is the detainment and deportation of undocumented residents that committed no crime other than being here. That's part of the reason why we have significant food inflation right now and, in some cases, vegetable crops left rotting in the fields. Multiple reasons why Trump's policies are ramping up inflation (in addition to devaluing of the dollar and record-breaking deficit spending) but that's one of them. The idiot wingers think they're getting rich because their 401ks are skyrocketing (in terms of nominal dollars only) but are too dumb to realize that so are everybody else's and the main reason is the free falling value of the dollar.
  19. So you are saying if Hamas takes over they will save the planet?
  20. I was just testing you. My sense is 100 mi bike ride about equivalent to 15 mi run and 3 mi swim. Although pretty sure I could never swim 3 mi.
  21. Any updates on the Mizzou lineup other than Hawks transferring?
  22. I’m not Jimmy. Do you prefer news sources ? https://www.foxnews.com/us/hundreds-federal-agents-chicago-carry-out-operation-targeting-suspected-tren-de-aragua-gang-members.amp Hundreds of federal agents in Chicago carry out operation targeting suspected Tren de Aragua gang members Operation comes day after Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker announced DHS military deployment request
  23. Oh it's little Jimmy and his Twitter shenanigans probably.
  24. 20 miles? That's crazy talk. The most I ever swam non-stop was 3.2 miles. The most in a day was 10.
  25. This is due to a change in the Naturalization request form that happened in 2024. Immigration applicants used to have to go to a separate office to apply for a non-citizen SSN. Now they can do that straight on their naturalization form. The process is more efficient so more people are actually getting the SSNs they're supposed to be getting as part of the application for citizenship. This makes sure they have proper work authorization and are paying taxes. That's why, if you look closer at the graph, 2025 under Trump is actually on track to exceed 2024. The current column only reflects the first 3 months of the year.
  26. They wear masks because of this And this (again calls to doxx ice agents) https://rosecityantifa.org And this And this
