  1. Past hour
  2. What would be a better weight for him? 170? Because he is one of the smaller 185s in UFC. (And he did not lose 30+ lbs this week) (Based on eye test, height, and reach)
  3. Aaron actually recently signed with the UFC other than dislocating his shoulder against Jeremey Kennedy he has been on a tear, and I think he has a good shot of winning a belt. He is truly a complete fighter just may have chin issues and sort of got throw to the wolves when he was too green. My gauge on Bo which could probably be completely off base is that he is not pushing himself in training. He spends most of his time in happy valley likely training with the same guys that probably are not as good as him and then does the last few weeks of camp in florida which at that point I doubt they are giving him guys that can beat him so that his confidence is not shot. I know he trains with Johnny eblen which is great but thats a style that is probably fairly comfortable for him and who's to say how hard Eblen goes. As for RDR he held two belts in one for a reason he is very good and had a great gameplan he was constantly moving forward and throwing knees up the middle which probably made Bo apprehensive about lowering his level. The two most concerning things were seeing Bo get stuck underneath and have terrible body language to getting hit. You can be as good as you want but if you can't take getting hit you are not going to make it very far.
  4. My brain is truly dead this morning because I cannot think of anything else to say beyond it's funny that Bo lost and Mineo spent an entire day crashing out on Iowa fans for the sake of someone who probably wouldn't look his way in public.
  5. He did not lose 37 lbs in three days.
  6. On Sunday evening, Ohio State received word that one of their home state’s best recent products was coming home to wrestle for the Buckeyes. Two-time NCAA qualifier Dylan Fishback announced yesterday that he intends to transfer from NC State to Ohio State. Fishback redshirted during his initial campaign in Raleigh and then jumped right into the NC State starting lineup at 184 lbs. He has finished as an ACC runner-up in both years of competition. Fishback also has been a match shy of All-American honors in both seasons, as well. His 2024-25 campaign came to an end with a 4-0 loss to Nebraska’s Silas Allred in the bloodround. For the year, Fishback went 16-8 with wins over past All-Americans and conference rivals - Gavin Kane (North Carolina) and TJ Stewart (Virginia Tech). His two-year mark for NC State was 36-17. With Fishback in the fold, the Ohio State staff could redshirt returning 184 lb starter Ryder Rogotzke and one of them could move up to 197 lbs in the 2026-27 season. In years past, Ohio State hasn’t been as aggressive in the transfer portal as other national powers; however, that’s changed in the offseason of 2025. Tom Ryan’s team has added All-American Ethan Stiles at 149, and 2024 Big 12 champion Cody Chittum at 157 lbs before getting Fishback. Barring head coaching changes, the portal has closed down for the offseason. There are still some notable names that can take as long as they need to announce a transfer destination - just no others can enter.
  7. He didn’t know how. Fairly simple to understand
  8. But at least you seem to acknowledge that the “9-0 in our favor” statement was a lie, @Offthemat. Kudos
  9. Not what I was responding to was it? Has any amendment or court decision ever been subjected to further interpretation by the Court?
  10. Not what he said, nor what the constitution says.
  11. Today
  12. Yeah but when he tried to wrestle, it's different than college because you can't do the same things, owing to the fact people can punch and knee you. So the way you wrestle has to change. I don't think he's adapted that fully yet.
  13. For sure street fight is different to wrestling. If you want to be good at street fights learn to be good at street fights. If you want to be an athlete then wrestling is a good option. One has good life options other is a dead end.
  14. Can you imagine anything more ridiculous than a court telling the President he should allow an illegal alien who has an order of removal to be facilitated to re-enter the country so he can be deported, again?
  15. Cole wrestled 97 KG last MFS season did he not? Being 6lbs heavier than that is not that impressive. Said he wants to be 235-240 before next season? Did he have a botched drop to 97 KG?
  16. Bugger - wrong thread.
  17. That was only part of the ruling, he ignored the part that ruled against them
  18. In high school wrestling (depending on the state), you can get pretty far with good physical conditioning and basic technique. Not so much in college (even D2 or D3), where pretty much everyone has good physical conditioning. I don’t know much about the other martial arts and I haven’t been in a real fight since I was probably 10, so I’m definitely no expert on which is the best, but I’d say wrestling definitely gives you an advantage in a fight over having no martial arts experience, but something where you learn submissions might be a little better. Or of course boxing.
  19. Hasn’t a criticism of him been that he hasn’t really used his wrestling much?
  20. No, he’s saying that he knows right from wrong; that he’s trying to do what’s right and he relies on his lawyers to determine constitutionality, but while judges don’t agree on what’s constitutional, he can’t say for sure. TDS has you making way more of this than is there.
  21. I think this taught him wrestling in MMA is very different from college or freestyle.
  22. You're arguing something totally different. This isn't about whether what Trump is doing is constitutionally correct or not. This is about one of the basic functions of the job. Like one that is explicitly mentioned in the actual oath of office. And he publicly said he doesn't know if that's what he's supposed to do? This isn't being a bad president, this is being a bad junior high student. It's like going to school and when your parents ask you if you're supposed to do homework, saying you don't know.
  23. Several times now a district judge has deemed actions by the Trump administration to be unconstitutional, only to be overturned by a higher court. The lower court would have been said to say that Trump was acting unconstitutionally (not upholding the constitution) while the higher court would be said to say that he was upholding the constitution. If you need me to complicate it more, just say the word.
  24. That doesn't make sense. It's literally in the oath of office. There's no Supreme Court decision that disagrees with what is in the oath of office. "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God." Nothing that needs to be litigated or decided there. Either you uphold the constitution or you don't.
  25. Ross is going to be a problem when he's ~245-260. If he can put that weight on....and he looks like he should be able to, he's different than the rest of these guys IMO.
