  1. Past hour
  2. Interesting. I saw that as well. D3
  3. I saw a lot of people on social media act like they are surprised by this too. Stanich is a beast. He placed 5th in the country as a true freshman in 2024. Beat several AAs as a redshirt this year. Has two years in a D1 room. The fact that Bassett is even close to that level is impressive. Definitely not an upset
  4. Agree. Should have started as 1-0 Miller instead of 4-0 Duke. Step out preceded that 4-point throw.
  5. 5 point swing at the beginning. Pj stepped out before the throw would have been interesting if that was challenged.
  6. Great clash of styles at 70 KG. Melvin Miller is very quick and long and took most of the shots. Duke is sturdy and strong - didn't take many risks, but physically manhandled Miller. Wrestled smart and won.
  7. should have lost his finals match just now.
  8. That doesn't make sense. If there was an income return in previous year then there was income. Most of these athletes receive NIL for multiple years thus NIL in the previous year and thus need to file quarterly or some other tax collection method for the expected income else pay penalty and interest.
  9. Unseeded... really notable run by Luke. D3
  10. Good sportsmanship by Pierson Manville... he tried like hell to score! D3
  11. SIX ZIP WINNA!!!! Luke Stanich! WOOOHOOO!!! D3
  12. Luke holding center well... D3
  13. Manville had a good chance to score... but Luke maintain his balance. D3
  14. ANOTHER TD for Luke... (LUUUUUUKE.... the force is STRONG!) D3
  15. Luke Stanich gets the TD... leads 2-0. ANOTHER TD... 4-0 D3
  16. Why is every ref 100 lbs. overweight? Some can barely move around the mat.
  17. It was Lock Haven open... the DB doesn't show that he lost to Forrest, though that was count as a loss. D3
  18. Luke has great ankle picks and Lee has shown susceptibilities to that attack, ie Bresser, Rivera, and Marco Freaking Vespa who rode in on his scooter and ankle picked and nearly cradled to pin Lee. Also, Lee is not the skinny little kid he was in College. he's one bad weight cut or injury away from making this a scary match. Overall though I think I'd give Luke a 20% right now
  19. Lee is too good a handfighter and Lilladahl is still a bit of a counter puncher, its gonna be tough.
  20. purely an observation and I am sure just a coincidence, but its sort of funny that Herring and Jax make commitments and go on to have the best performances of their lives (to PSU and OKST respectively) and Bo commits to Iowa and takes his first age level domestic loss in almost 2 years.
  21. Comparison bout... in Luke S. true frosh season, he met Jax Forrest in the 125 finals (Edinboro Open?) It was tied in reg... Luke went for it in the end, but Jax got the TD and NF. (I think it was 8-1, but I'm not totally sure. Let me check Boomer's DB.) D3
  22. He missed weight day 2.Kinda shocked he entered at 61kg since hes an AWA guy Ben feels like a big picture dude and that kind of cutting weight does not seem to align with that.
  23. He just completed his 2nd year at Lehigh. Hard to imagine he was an 19-year old true frosh when he earned AA at 125 in 2024.
  24. Sam Herring with a nice arm spin on Kyler Larkin
  25. But of course, it's Flo.
