  1. Past hour
  2. Chael Sonnen may be the only athlete to admit to doping. And he has embraced it.
  3. I think he beat 4: R16 - (1) Reggie Wright Consi Qrts - (6) Eric Schmiesing Consi Semis - (2) Jared Lawerence 3rd place - (8) Jared Frayer - who previously beat him in the quarters
  4. Other nots imo. Quentin wright psu
  5. Close. But he had three wins against top 8 (1, 2, 6) and three against unseeded.
  6. I should have done a better job with that.
  7. Mike Zadick in 2001 I believe is one of them.
  8. I was. But I don’t think he is right and he is to new. So I’m just memory wise wrong on which low seeded guy that I can’t seem to remember. And in spirit of the Trivia i’m avoiding looking stuff up
  9. Oh, Gotcha! So bottom half of bracket is 17-31 seeds- that's what you meant! lol!
  10. Google image dhea. It’s literally the name of the supplement lol. I didn’t know the banned thing was in the thing I took. (I can’t post pics) https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=google+image+dhea
  11. I was thinking about him too, but he AA'd in 2022.
  12. It's gross what people in authority will do or will allow to be done. It's gross that in sports so many people in authority will ignore gross stuff to avoid upsetting a winning program. It's gross that wrestling is like other sports and other places where authority is abused.
  13. Tariq Wilson was close as well with 3 wins the year when he almost beat Seth Gross in the Semis. Same year as Conel's run, that was a super fun NCAAs.
  14. He was too high of a seed at #9 to qualify. Our hero was a #25 seed.
  15. Great guess as he beat the #1 twice (Moore), but he only had 1 other top 8 win in that run.
  16. Hell, I pay close attention to any over the counter pills/meds that I take. You'd think he'd have a source he could send a picture to just to make sure he was in the clear before putting a new drug into his body. There are very few athletes in history that have "knowingly" taken PEDs. Amen. You'd think he would have learned after his first scare. He is either 1. dumb, 2. a cheat, 3. both. Give me option 3.
  17. He said it was a short guy so I'm assuming he's talking about Cole Matthews...
  18. Brock Hardy? 2024 NCAAs? He beat 4 guys ranked in the top 8 and took 3rd but is probably remembered more for getting spladled. *sigh
  19. Are you thinking Tyler Nauman? He AA'd at 141 in 2010 and 149 in 2012.
  20. America by design does not have a systemic cheating scandal. Capitalism literally prevents from a state-led doling system. Capitalism promotes individual accomplishment and privatization, and these ideologies carry through at the athletics level as well. Rather than seek out USA-led doping, Lance Armstrong will find a small elite team to blood dope; Marion Jones and Barry Bonds will find a private lab for the Cream and the Clear; David Tay... uhh, "random dudes" will seek out Treigning Lab - these are just major examples everyone would be aware of. Daton Fix will buy from Chemyo and Aaron Brooks will mask from Wegman's because DHEA is obviously how you overcome pneumonia (my doctor is a plebe and only gave me albuterol and 5 days of doxycicline and prednisolone). The point is in America there is no "central" *doping system. It's is up to the individual to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and find the juice on their own.
  21. This happens across all sports. It just sticks out a lot more in a sport with such few stars.
  22. Kyle Connell?
