10 years after Hillary’s failed Presidential campaign
ThreePointTakedown replied to headshuck's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Walks like a duck… 1. Powerful, often exclusionary, populist nationalism centered on cult of a redemptive, “infallible” leader who never admits mistakes. Who said, 'don't believe your lying eyes'? Boasts about never apologizing for anything for any reason. Is running a campaign of revenge against their political enemies and has control of all the branches of government that are complicit in doing just that. 2. Political power derived from questioning reality, endorsing myth and rage, and promoting lies. Not even sure I need to expound on this, but this is the RNC strategy to a 'T'. 3. Fixation with perceived national decline, humiliation, or victimhood. Again, RNC for decades. Claim that something doesn't work. Defund it. Watch it collapse. Then brag that they were right the whole time. Case in point, what the right has been doing to public education for decades. 4. White Replacement “Theory” used to show that democratic ideals of freedom and equality are a threat. Oppose any initiatives or institutions that are racially, ethnically, or religiously harmonious. Which side is terrified of all but white immigrants? Not the left. 5. Disdain for human rights while seeking purity and cleansing for those they define as part of the nation. Which side is more religious? Scared of sex, any sex, especially non-hetero sex? Has attacked emerging cultural groups(LGBTQ+) at every opportunity as a threat to society? 6. Identification of “enemies”/scapegoats as a unifying cause. Imprison and/or murder opposition and minority group leaders. Or deport them without due process... 7. Supremacy of the military and embrace of paramilitarism in an uneasy, but effective collaboration with traditional elites. Fascists arm people and justify and glorify violence as “redemptive”. Department of War? Sending military into cities, who has done and threatens to do? 8. Rampant sexism. Duh. 9. Control of mass media and undermining “truth”. Who is currently threatening media companies with lawsuits and freezing mergers until voices are silenced? 10. Obsession with national security, crime and punishment, and fostering a sense of the nation under attack. Typical boogyman. 11. Religion and government are intertwined. Who held a bible upside down after gassing civilians? 12. Corporate power is protected, and labor power is suppressed. Which side wants less regulation and no minimum wage? 13. Disdain for intellectuals and the arts not aligned with the fascist narrative. Anti-education. Attacking Harvard, Columbia, and so many others to control their curricula to more align with their ideology. 14. Rampant cronyism and corruption. Loyalty to the leader is paramount and often more important than competence. Holy cow, this is 47's theme song! 15. Fraudulent elections and creation of a one-party state. Which side cannot admit when they lose? Not the left. 16. Often seeking to expand territory through armed conflict. Working through proxies to do just that, currently. -
Asshole anarchists just like the summer riots. Btw the riots were far worse.

It's hard to lose in the finals in years you don't make it there. Smith is 5 for 5! I kid, JB is one of the greatest ever. What he did on a broken ankle is mind blowing. -
Armenian won 3-1, has Iran next

Sorry, I have no insight. I do know that Bono and his coaches are having a lot of fun running ultra-endurance races.
-
Good move, you are right to concede.

While acknowledging this, you really don't want to get into a comparison discussion around "riots." There isn't even a need to discuss.

There is another survey with much greater support by the left for killing both Trump and Musk. A broader “assassination culture” appears to be emerging within segments of the U.S. public on the extreme left. NCRI empirically assessed this shift with original survey data and open source intelligence analysis to assess how normalized and justified violence against the administration has become in public discourse. The findings signal a threat to political stability and public safety. Key data points include: Murder Justification: 31% and 38% of respondents stated it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk and President Trump, respectively. These effects were driven by respondents that self-identified as left of center, 3 with 50% and 56%4 at least somewhat justifying murder for Elon Musk and President Trump, respectively. Property Destruction: Nearly 40% of respondents stated it is at least somewhat acceptable to destroy a Tesla dealership in protest. Psychological/Ideological Correlations with Assassination Culture: These beliefs are highly correlated with one another, as well as with the justification of the murder of the UnitedHealthcare CEO and hyper-partisan left-wing ideology https://networkcontagion.us/reports/4-7-25-ncri-assassination-culture-brief/

Thank you for that data set. It supports that the right has committed more politically motivated violence than the left, and that political violence is a rounding error against the larger theme of violence overall. Its sort of like school shootings. It is a problem. It is disgusting. Yet it is also a disproportional emphasis... like focusing on a bike shed design rather than the powerplant design proposal. Now the survey about political violence support is eye opening, scary, disgusting, and sad. It is way more concerning than the actual numbers of political violence to me.

If I was a leftist I would do everything I can to distance myself from schools. The left has completely controlled education for decades and it only gets worse. It's time for a values based conservative education to return. We clearly had better schools and graduates when that was the ideology. Our schools are horrible all the way through college. -

This poll makes it very clear who supports violence even if we can't agree on who is doing it.

Weingarten Caused more damage to this country than killary did. And that’s saying a lot -
Following Monty Python logic of ducks = witches... Given certain demographics commit more criminal violence, and that demographic is a majority democrat supporting block, the left is more violent. Given certain demographics are more prone to commit legal violence against "clumps of cells of the human species," the left is more violent. Survey support responses for violence is greater from the left than the right. I have not verified but will trust that the right has committed more political violence against individuals for a period. While correlation doesn’t equal causation, it is fact that of the relative small number of people committing violence, the majority is left.

Evidence that Hillary has been labeling l anyone she doesn’t like as “fascist” for a decade, and it makes its way into a book authored by the president of the American Federation of Teachers? -

I just watched two democrats and a republican talk about a bipartisan bill that would stop the flow of misinformation on social media.

Some licensed broadcasters did push back on abc and Disney and told them we’re done carrying Kimmel and his bullshit program. Seems you completely didn’t pick that part up.
