  2. Not for long they don’t.
  3. If work is your life you are living 14 hr/dy some folks do it.
  4. And 2 hours to live.
  5. I only opened this for The Dark Horse tune ... my bad.
  6. That Japanese dude was bullying guys earlier in the tournament. Not with Luke, in fact Luke not only didn’t give ground he wore him out! His finishes are concise and quick. He wrestled very smart in that world final. Fought just enough defensively and knew when to bail. He’s deceptively good. Making NJ very proud!
  7. 14hr x 6dy = 84 add another 6 on Sunday if you want. You still have 10hr off 8hr sleep and you sleep well.
  8. Pendleton comes from the school of John Smith, the master of weight cutting. I'm guessing a new meal regiment with low protein intake. He'll have to figure it out. Attao ain't no slouch and that's a solid 1-2 punch Pendleton has for upper weights
  9. I respect GR but I tend to agree. I’ve always thought Greco would make a lot more sense if you were ONLY able to touch the legs in freestyle but in freestyle you can do BOTH. It’s a way more viable and practically applicable martial art/sport.
  10. There are 168 hours in a week. Most people work five days a week which leaves 120 hours in five days. Let’s say we split the difference on a a 70-90 hour work week and call it 80 hours per work week. That leaves 88 hours in the week and 40 hours in a five day work week. You’re supposed to get 8 hours of sleep per night but let’s say because you work so much you only get six per night. That’s takes 42 hours out of your week leaving you 46 hours and it takes 30 hours out of your five day work week leaving you 16 hours in the five days. That leaves you roughly 6.6 hours per day for the week and 3.2 hours per day in the five day work week to live life. That’s driving wherever you go, (traveling to and from work), all your shopping, church, kids events, errands, watching tv, working out, social media, going to the doctor, oil changes, visiting family and friends, eating out, school conferences, shoveling snow/mowing, paying bills, napping/dozing off because you work so much and every other thing that goes on in life. I call bullshit on people regularly working 70, 80, 90 hours per week. You feel like you did but you didn’t. PS - I have a wonderful wife that took care of most of the everyday life stuff while I was working/gone so I know you need support to make life work. It was absolutely wonderful that she could and much needed. I averaged around 50 hours per week.
  11. Today
  12. I was there that night for that match. That world championships was great. Iranians well represented in the stands, Cormier shoving dudes, Cael Sajidov, Cuban studs. MSG. Loved it.
  13. Would be interesting to know what really happened to Saitiev. Even on his Wikipedia page the official word is he was sick and in and out of the hospital but his wife and witnesses claimed he fell out of a window? Such a damn shame either way. My favorite wrestler ever.
  14. I watched him in open tournaments myself last year and thought next year he should be AA fur sure. Top three is ambitious but possible
  15. I was looking this kid up a bit. He can crack the top 3 you think huh?
  16. We have never come close to this level of success at the lower levels since I’ve been following. We’d have a junior world champ here and there. 5 in one freaking year?!
  17. Are we currently the best wrestling country in the world? I guess it’s yet to be determined until after U23s and seniors but we just might be.
  18. I think Jordan Burroughs helped usher in the “Golden Age” for USA wrestling and was followed up by Snyder, Dake and Taylor. It is pretty incredible that we got to watch 4 of the top 6 American wrestlers of all time compete at the same time! And J’Den Cox has an argument to be in the top 10 all time. Unfortunately, this era is starting to come to an end (I know DT and Cox are the only ones officially retired, but the point still stands). However, you can’t help but be impressed with what our young guys just did! Duke, Blaze, and Forrest are doing things I never saw anyone their age do before! Could they and others bring in an even better golden age? You can never predict anyone to have the long lasting success like JB and Snyder, but I think some of these guys have the talent to do it. I’m interested to see if any of these guys can make a run at 7+ senior golds!
  19. I don't mind the Birden over Paddy pick. Or is it Cannon over Paddy?
  20. I worked 70-90 most weeks for years. Wasn't physical but it's still tiresome. I can barely work 40 anymore. It's unsustainable and gains you nothing. Everything in your life gets neglected and you can't do anything for yourself. I can squeeze out a 50 hrs week but I try to keep that to a minimum.
  21. Comer said Barr told investigators that he "didn't know anything about a client list," and did not have conversations with Trump about such a list. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bill-barr-testifies-he-didnt-see-info-would-implicate-trump-epstein-case-comer-says
  22. We know guys duck. You're saying guys don't bump to duck?
  23. Jaxon Joy, Fr. 149, Cornell
  24. Are you actually a geologist?
  25. Gophers need Gavin to be healthy and have a solid year.
