Really happy with Lee's draw. As long as he can get past Zou again, his path to semis looks a lot better than anywhere else he could've ended up.
Happy for Brooks that at least Yaz is on the other side.
I'm guessing since she had Susaki from Japan first round that she wasn't really expecting to win that and just hydrated more than usual after weigh-ins.
Just learned that WFS 50kg Vinesh Phogat has been hospitalized after spending all night trying to cut to make weight for the finals. Hope she recovers soon.

here's hoping Parrish does well in the repechange; 99% sure she'll get pulled in.
Payton Jacobson's in the hole on mat C. I believe it's his first senior world team – maybe he'll buck the USA greco trend?
Looks like Hildebrandt teched Guzman (Cuba) the last time I could find that they wrestled each other: https://www.flowrestling.org/video/10945239-50-kg-semifinal-sarah-hildebrandt-usa-vs-yusneylis-guzman-cub
Though it was a tight match before the leg laces kicked in.
So I guess it'll be Yusneylis Guzman (Cuba) vs Sarah Hildebrandt in the finals of WFS 50kg?
And does that mean Vinesh doesn't medal at all since she's been DQ'ed? If so, that's crazy; she earned her right on the podium just by making the finals.
all good
good energy from bey at the end, but it was too little too late.
honestly got the feeling he really wanted to shoot a double leg at the end out of desperation which would've been hilarious
in college we used to occasionally swap our wrestling practices w/ the swim team's and those were always so damn brutal. just uses different muscles and i'm sure it was equally rough for the swimmers in the wrestling room
