Yesterday didn't exactly go as we all wanted, but we still got plenty of wrestling left Kicking us off today is Zain Retherford at 65kg, Kyle Snyder at 97kg, and Kennedy Blades at WFS 76kg. First match on Mat A Kadi vs Salkazanov should be a good one!

Mat B has had commentary but mats A and C haven't, at least on Peacock. It's a lot more fun to watch the replays w/ JB's commentary.

There was only a few seconds between the first one and the match ending + a bogus after-match fleeing call. Valiev was defending at that point just like any wrestler would. He wasn't running away or fleeing. This makes zero sense.

That happens sometimes when the side refs don't agree w/ the mat ref.

Valiev was robbed. There's no reason the refs should give 2 points within the last 10 seconds for defensive wrestling. Crazy that they let the refs decide that match.

WTF wow; Zhamalov just overturned the match vs Valiev on a desperation challenge right at the end. That's crazy. Honestly, I think Valiev was just robbed. He looks so confused.

He likely has Emami next which'll be tight, and then Cabalov or Takatani in the semis which'll also be tight. My guess is Salkazanov or Zhamalov in the finals.

Kadi vs Zhamalov – their defense is unbelievable

Emami wins over Chamizo 9-4. Chamizo looked solid in the first but after that 4-point move he just didn't have anything. Gave up w/ 10s left.
