  1. Who knows; it'd be much more interesting to watch if we got to see a Snyder vs Sadulaev bronze bout, but I doubt it.
  2. Maybe he switched to vaping instead of smoking 2 packs a day
  3. Snyder's loss leaves the team race predictions pretty tenuous: Small subjective tweaks for sure like Lee hopefully getting us some points if Amouzad beats Musukaev, Dake over Sidakov, Valencia bronze, and Sadulaev taking gold... doesn't leave much margin for error though.
  4. from flo's breakdown:
  5. He got to the legs several times but his opponent took advantage and tossed Snyder for 2 feet-to-backs w/ pretty perfect technique. He also got one normal TD in there. It was devastating.
  6. Wow, Sadulaev saves it last second vs Iran. No technique, just pure determination and strength.
  7. Snyder's opponent was no slouch. #10 Akhmed Tazhudinov (BRN)- 2022 97 KG 1st Ivan Poddubny Tournament champion, 2022 97 KG Russian Nationals bronze medalist, 2023 97 KG Asian Championships gold medalist, 2023 97 KG Bishkek Ranking Series Tournament champion. Key Wins: #3 Alikhan Zhabrailov (2022 97 KG 1st Ivan Poddubny Tournament), #5 (125) Abdulla Kurbanov (2022 97 KG 1st Ivan Poddubny Tournament), #12 Sergey Kozyrev (2022 97 KG 1st Ivan Poddubny Tournament), #16 Mojtaba Goleij (2023 97 KG Asian Championships), Magomed Ibragimov (2023 97 KG Bishkek Ranking Series Tournament). Key Losses: Aslanbek Sotiev (2022 97 KG Russian Nationals), Looks like Sadulaev could lose too to Iran....
  8. Lee w/ the pin over Austin Gomez
  9. is there another place to view upcoming matches? i know @nhs67 has included some screenshots that looked like a diff screen than the "upcoming bouts" tab which is blank atm
  10. Yeah, I think Flo's upcoming bouts feature is broken atm
  11. Nick Lee up 2-0 at the break on mat B
  12. Zahid takes it 6-0. Will have Japan's Yoshida for bronze. I'm really liking his chances in that match.
  13. Zahid up 4-0 in his first repechage match on mat B
  14. Would love to see Steveson vs Zare at some point. That being said, Parris did an absolutely amazing job representing USA on short notice in his senior level debut.
  15. If you prefer guaranteed points:
  16. Updated team predictions after day 2:
  17. Agreed, though this logic goes both ways. It'd be amazing to see a WC / olympics where every nation was able to send their top 3 guys. Some of those Russian squads would clean house, just like the days when JB, Dake, and Taylor were all at the same weight. Cray cray
  18. Would be really interesting to see him vs Nolf after so many years being in the same room together
  19. Iranian guys talking about it over here https://indianamat.com/index.php?/forums/topic/62268-iran-wrestling-news/page/65/
  20. The sequential matches for the finals make it take so much longer. Really wishing they at least wrestled the bronze matches side-by-side
  21. 2 first-time champs for the US so far in Vito and Zain Great to see these guys break through at the next level, especially considering this WC is fully loaded
  22. ZAIN WINS GOLD 8-5 at 70kg!!
  23. Zain w/ another TD up 8-2
  24. Zain looking solid up 6-2 w/ 2min left
  25. Zain up 3-2 over Yaz at the break
