    I've never heard anyone try to undermine Yianni's 4 timer status. My only complaint on his behalf is that the crew who forgot Sebass beat Lee Twice also flooded the market as far as torn ACL references go and no one remembers that he won NCAAs as a true freshmen in a brutal bracket with a torn ACL.... Also Yianni is so unbelievably squirrely its hard to imagine him being pinned, its probably indicative of a problem in him wrestling but it seems like he could hit the eject button in almost any position.

    Anyone else feel like he's hit a ceiling and its gonna take something really special to get him through it? He wrestles hard, looks pretty stiff in many positions (I would blame NLWC for this if I was treating them like people treat Iowa), seems like he's been pretty well figured out. The good news for him is that weight is empty (friendly reminder he wrestled Isaac Trumble to make the olympic team), but is Snyder gonna win worlds again?

    IDK but I don't buy the story, which as I understand it is "A guy was in the stands saying racist things and insulting my son so I politely asked him to stop and he punched me."

    I think the cultural significance of this is more that this may be one of the most JERSEY events in history.

    Lee couldn't ask for much more slack from the wrestling public...no one even remembers that Sebastian beat him on grit twice in a row.

    if its not toughness, we definitely underestimate the amount of shear anxiety and negative emotion it takes to get to that level.

    Thats all true and I don't think it constitutes defending him. He's still just there because he wants eyeballs on him.

    One thing that might be biasing us against Brands it that over the last....23 months we've seen a lot more of Kennedy on the mat than Brands. Make's him feel more relevant...
