implementation of it depends on reputation. I had a kid who was quite good at it and he got stopped less in proportion to his reputation. I don't think we know who invented many moves, even the nolf winn dixie came from cody sanderson and I don't know if he claims he invented it, but as far as bringing the bow and arrow back into prominence recently it was Cam Simaz, and then gabe Dean.

dont forget how much weight he's cutting....guys like musakeav have a weird habit of being in better shape at the olympics. Zains shape advantage might be more along the lines of recovery between matches than gassing guys out.

I don't know a lot about that conflict, but I assume it wasn't a pitched war. If I'm correct, I'd answer @uncle bernard by saying there are profound differences between a conflict involving two warring nations, with antithetical values and histories, one of whom is bent on exacerbating civilian causalities on both sides, and the opposite.

Starocci also made a pretty snarky and disrespectful tweet when Taylor left. I know he's a weird dude, but that's not something you do if you look up to the dude. I think these are all good dudes, but they are in a room with people who want the same thing and are uber competitive, not the type of competitive that annoying girls brag about so they can be a jerk while losing at beer pong, the competitive that drags pretty much everyone into fixation and pettiness. That's why I always push back on the NLWC fun dodgeball love filled mentorship haven idea...these elite clubs aren't entirely wholesome places. Though I should point out if looks like lee is in turkey with retherford, and Dake went out of his way to mention nolf was supoprtive when his dad died so I'm not claiming its all bad by any means.

He gives a few bad impressions. One being that he is riding a wave of positive emotion based on the making the Olympic team, but is repackaging it into a sort of humble brag based on his faith. I don't think this is a conscious decision, but it shows a certain lack of self awareness. Also, and for well motivated reasons, he's trying to traffic on intellectual grounds that are very simple within a person and very hard to convey to other people, and he's currently terrible at it, that video is pretty incoherent. But really he's just a little immature and aside from thinking that my opinion is obviously very high of him. I've known plenty of high profile people like him who parleyed that into being sociopathic exploitative monsters, this is definitely a lot better than that.
