I'd simplify and say his #1 priority if that his opponent never has a chance to win. Meaning he isn't gonna open himself up if he feels like there is a 10% chance the position won't go his way. Position supersedes all other concerns, and if that means less points than so be it. As great as he is, you can't say what you can say about later stage Nickal Retherford Nolf etc, which is that its gonna be next to impossible to beat them with one TD.
