    People freak out whenever I say this...he's not super elite mentally. He gets rattled when his match doesn't come together. I know he's wrestled hurt a lot, thats baked in everyone knows it and gives him credit, that said he isn't one of these guys who always seems to find a way.

    Horrible idea to trade a year on the back end to screw around in highschool. He's also more likely to get hurt wrestling high schoolers.

    Askren had a general take, didn't mention Nickal, but he said wrestlers can get a chip on their shoulder and just decide that they want to wow everyone with their hands, which is a big mistake obviously. Seems like Nickal might have caught that bug.

    The only thing I'm very confident of is these people require a lot of stroking. I think some of the other programs realized they're not ready to be a coach/cheerleader/psychiatrist/court jester/travel agent for the whole family.

    I think Zahid is a douche, and I don't like Taylor either....but omg what an amazing performance. The shape, the gameplan, the execution was all perfect. Ghasempour looked completely average.

    Some might not count this against it, but the Acolyte cost 28 million dollars an episode. Kinda colors the comparison against a WB show that cost 3 cents.

    The Acolyte Its the only show whose story makes no moral sense on top of not making any literal or thematic sense.

    You're missing a bunch. Every character is beyond stupid, and extremely poorly written to boot. The show goes for thematic significance that it whiffs on completely because it doesn't understand peter pan. the lead talks to aliens and doesn't think to tell anyone what they are saying, the best character is a goat that stands still and doesn't do anything, they have constant flashbacks for no reason....
