  1. I keep on waiting for Hamiti to have that big jump. Keeps not happening, though. He was 8 of 14 against top 16 opponents last year, per WS, last year. Those losses being to Carr, Monday (2x), Amine (2x), and Griffith. He just can’t break through against those top guys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Missing turrets, in many cases.
  3. Why do you believe this? Is the administration/athletic department simply going to hand wave this requirement and make it go away? Also, your second sentence seems to fly in the face of the first sentence; I'd hope you'd know that he's doing online classes and has completed X number of credit hours before making the first statement.
  4. Academic eligibility, for starters. He would have to be at a certain percentage of the needed credit hours for a given academic track in order to compete in any NCAA competition. Given that he wasn’t in school (to my knowledge) this last year, I’m guessing he’s not exactly up to speed on that front. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Haines was an 18 year old true frosh last season, Franek was a 5th year last season. Haines has another year in a significantly better room with much better training partners (despite Bob Nichols' statements to the contrary). Haines is rolling with Zain and Nolf, regularly. Franek is/will be rolling with...Kennedy, and Caliendo? I'd go 8 of 10, for Haines, right now.
  6. He's been lifting weights the entire time. Not getting smaller, not staying the same weight, but getting bigger. He was a huge 197 already, and had a massive cut. Unless he gets started on shrinking his body, as in yesterday, he's going to be the walking dead by the start of the third period against a guy like Brooks, if he can make the cut at all. I very much doubt that he can do it without serious medical intervention, legal or otherwise.
  7. "Wrestle! Wrestle!". ~T. Brands, c. 2024.
  8. Oh, I’m aware. BB made a mental and physical jump recently. He had Nick Lee on the ropes and were it not for a short lapse in judgement, would’ve had a really good shot of pulling it off. Just pointing out that all hope ends after 141. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Iowa isn’t winning a match after 141. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. T-44s? T-54/55s? T-72s? Some other crap that should be in a museum? Because that’s about all they have left. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. You’ve actually done a commendable job with not doing that. I’ve participated in other forums where the owner of the forum had a pretty strong agenda towards certain products, ideas, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. And 165. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Truax is super light for the weight, which is common knowledge. Sub-190 at times during the season. Brooks is going up, which is also pretty well known at this point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. He’s going to have to be in order to not get bumped out of the lineup, assuming Messenbrink doesn’t (voluntarily) take an OLY RS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is great for Illinois. Have to start keeping the best talent in-state. When IL loses guys like Hamiti to Wisconsin, that sucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. It’s 8 years. You owe a minimum of 5 years active duty, then 3 years in either the Reserve, or inactive ready reserve. You can do all 8 active, too, of course. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Looks like a fourth, maybe third place team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I’d put Nagao at #2, as he has the higher likely point production, compared to Caliendo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I think Mesenbrink is going to smoke a lot of those dudes and will end up in the 3rd place match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Here’s another one: That’s two. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. 112 for Penn State, after removing 19 for Kerkvliet and 6.5 for Dean. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Sarah Hildebrandt takes the cake in terms of Senior level success, no? Four senior level world medals, including an Olympic bronze. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. That’s a parent being a parent. Kids were devolving from wrestling to boxing and he’s the parent of one of them. Should he be on the mat? No. But I don’t hold it against him. Kick him out and everyone moves on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. An ankle injury for RBY might’ve helped with that one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. USAFA has the prep school, located on the south side of the USAFA campus. One of my employees used to be the superintendent there. Don’t know what kind of obligation kids have when they go there or if they owe years if they decide to leave. But, effectively a RS, all the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
