  1. Of course not. I’m was referring to Lee going to Penn State out of high school.
  2. I’m sure Drake’s Mom has some opinions.
  3. If Spencer Lee went to Penn State would he be solidified as the GOAT? Knee injuries probably given time to heal, RBY as a practice partner, and NLWC support for his international career. Still a great career and probably will have a great life, but what could of been?
  4. Pretty ill timed tweet from NCAAWrestling this morning with Lee.
  5. You’re right. I’m just so glad I wasn’t a one trick pony like Lee.
  6. Is Fix gonna come back this morning and wrestle for 3rd? Lee could give him some motivation to hang it up. And Fix is an international guy where it is common to drop out after losing.
  7. #2? No way Cael and Dake are way ahead of him. The most over looked part of Dake’s dominance was who he beat to win titles. Molinaro, St. John, and Taylor all win titles the next year
  8. Oklahoma State with 2 (potentially 1) All American and may not finish top 20. Ouch.
  9. Going into the Semi-Finals / Blood Round, Penn State has a commanding lead, but 2-5 are in tight contention for a trophy. The road to a trophy: Penn State, Iowa, Cornell, Nebraska, and Michigan 125: Iowa and Nebraska have a Semi-Finalist. Lee is a heavy favorite, while Cronin is probably a push. Cornell has Ungar in the Blood Round and has to get past Cardinale 133: Penn State and Cornell have a Semi-Finalist. RBY is a favorite and Vito is probably a push 141: Iowa and Nebraska face each other in a big match. Penn State has a Semi-Finalist who is probably an underdog 149: Penn State and Cornell wrestle each other, but Cornell is a heavy favorite. Michigan and Iowa wrestle in the Blood round for a chance to be an All American 157: Penn State and Nebraska wrestle each other in the Semi-Finals. Michigan has Lewan in the Blood Round and is probably a favorite 165: Michigan has Amine in the Semi-Finals, but is the underdog. Cornell has Ramirez in the Blood Round. Ordinarily an underdog, but it probably depends on the headspace of a former national champion 174: Penn State and Cornell wrestle in the Semi-Finals with Penn State being the favorite. Nebraska has a Semi-Finalist as well and faces a battered former National Champion. Iowa has Brands in the Blood Round against Ruth from Illinois 184: Penn State has Brooks in the Semi-Finals and Michigan has Finesilver in the Blood Round against Coleman of Iowa State 197: Lots of fun! Four of the top 5 have a guy in the Blood Round. Iowa and Nebraska wrestle each other. Dean has a young Georgia boy and Cornell has Brawlnagel 285: Michigan and Iowa wrestle in the Semi-Finals with Michigan the favorite. Penn State has a Semi-Finalist and may have the most entertaining heavyweight match of the weekend. I'd say Cornell and Nebraska have a chance to push Iowa to fourth place after tonight.
  10. Michigan had a chance at a team trophy, but imploded here
  11. Ramirez vs Kennedy has big team trophy implications
  12. I wanted to see Parris and Schultz, but so glad Cass won. Please don’t take us back to the days of fattest guy winning at heavyweight.
  13. Replay takes too long, but I like that isn’t an independent source making the call
  14. Hidlay may be my least favorite guy in the tournament. Stall your way through the tournament and celebrate like your Dake
  15. The looks of the people in the background when they saw Lewis’ finger
  16. Is the Blood round tonight with the Semis?
  17. We’re watching on TV from an angle we clearly can’t see both shoulders. A ref was inches away and could see both shoulders. Who should we believe?
  18. Andonian is the worst draw of every tournament
  19. Will Penn State Semi Magic prevail or will the Dake/Penn State curse prevail?
  20. I’m not enjoying the “Oklahoma State” period of this Penn State era. They’re dominant, but not as fun to watch as the previous crops. Even though you knew Joseph would never shoot, he was always trying to throw an inside trip from the wildest positions.
  21. 133 is underrated. The top 4 seeds are a lot of fun to watch.
  22. Curious about the other former 4xers. How many of them have up back points their senior year? Seems like Lee has given up a (relatively) lot of back points this year.
  23. I’d give Glory a chance if DeSanto didn’t pull the upset in HS. Don’t think Lee is gonna fall for that twice in his career.
