2.5 Big 12 wrestlers making it to the semi-finals. I think they only have 4 seeded to make it.

I wonder the Vegas odds on the Big12 semi-finalists. I’d put the line at 2.5. You take the over or under?

Like I said, single digit seeds are only at play. When they’re both in the teens or 20s it doesn’t count.

The Ragusin match shows why replay sucks in college wrestling. What are they doing besides delaying the tournament?

It’s good to reward a wrestlers season, but maybe strength of schedule and conference should be considered? If I see a single digit seed from a FCS school against an ACC or Big10 school I go ahead and mark the upset.

100% take the over. Lee, RBY, Star, and Brooks are heavy favorites. I have a hard time believing some combination of Woods, Haines, Dean, and Kerk don’t win it too.

There is a man in Star’s bracket that already knocked off a Penn State two timer going for his third.

Who else even has a shot of making the finals? Kennedy and Cass are the only two even close to talented enough to make the finals. Kennedy has to go through Amine, O’Toole, and Hamiti, before he gets to Carr. Cass has Schultz, Parris, and Kerk. If Woods gets knocked off then Iowa may not even finish second.

125 - Lee over Glory 133 - RBY over Fix (Don't think it's will happen, but I could see Fix winning here. He has to have been working for 12 months straight on RBY alone) 141 - Real Woods over Beau Bartlett (I could see this flip with Penn State Magic) 149 - Yianni over Mauler 156 - AOC over Haines 165 - Carr over Hamiti 174 - Carter over Lewis 184 - Brooks over Keckeison 197 - Allred over Truax 285 - Kerkvliet over Schultz Although neither scenario is likely, I could see Penn State with between 2 and 7 champions. Fix can potentially beat RBY A few upsets from other wrestlers and Beau Bartlett could be in the finals. Penn State freshmen have magic in the finals. Could Haines beat AOC? Lewis is the type of guy who could knock off Young I don't think Brooks has another letdown 197 is wild. I could see Dean as the Natty, but also not AA. I wouldn't say I like watching Schultz, but he's a huge dude with big move potential. I could see him upsetting Parris.

Probably easier to have 7/10 in the backside when they keep receiving MFFs.

Just catching up on the match, but stalling is the dumbest call we have. How do you call Brands for stalling? He’s standing dead center of the mat, never backs up, and is hand fighting for days. Doesn’t hang onto an inside collar tie to block off and presents himself the entire 3rd period. It isn’t his fault Plott won’t take a shot until 10 seconds left. I don’t even like Iowa and I know that was lazy on the official.

Do we see any locks for a national championship this year? So far I have 3 Spencer Lee Real Woods Aaron Brooks (yes, he lost, but lightening doesn’t strike twice) In my opinion, every other weight has a viable contender to knock off the top guy.

Top/bottom stalls are bad and inconsistent across the board. I hate when a top guy is laying 90 degrees on the bottom man, holding an arm bar, but never leaves the hips, and then the ref calls stalling on the bottom man. As a HS wrestler long ago I feel like people were always called for riding parallel.
