On the wire. My father was a homicide detective for a long time in Chicago working in its nicest neighborhoods. He said the way the dialogue between cops : crooks is so perfect. There is a scene towards the end with bunk and McNulty where one of them says something pretty bad…. But my father was like that’s totally real. It has to do with a gun and a murder.

I’m watching mad men now. I like it a lot. I’m in season 6 or 7 somewhere towards the end. My wife has been picking a lot of shows lately I wouldn’t watch for some reason and they are surprisingly good. Marvelous ms. Maisel was better than I expected too. I always have said the wire is the best show ever. Each season is a little masterpiece of their own. The hamsterdam season is a little weird though. since … what would you call it. Cable / non network tv / hbo / showtime starting making things they have gotten marketable better. I think sopranos kicked off the genre ….
