  1. Connor Brady nearly gets a major over Garvin. 10-3 with 50 seconds of riding time
  2. This is as good as I've seen Connor Brady wrestle. Two good takedowns so far against Hunter Garvin. 6-2 is a much more logical score in this situation than 4-2. Three point takedown helps the better wrestler achieve a more appropriate score
  3. Latona whooped him. Three takedowns to zero
  4. I was so surprised Provo kept holding onto Flynn while they were standing up - giving up two quick stall calls. I guess a brain fart? Flynn did a good job of staying active and attempting reattacks without putting himself in a risky spot. It's not my favorite style to watch, but pretty effective in many cases. I was surprised it wasn't closer even if I thought Flynn had a good upset chance
  5. Cooper Flynn easily defeats Nico Provo - just as I predicted. 3-0 Hokies as we move into 133.
  6. Probable Matchups 125: #4 Nico Provo OR Wyatt Richter (STAN) vs. Eddie Ventresca OR Cooper Flynn (VT) 133: #16 Tyler Knox OR Dom LaJoie (STAN) vs. #6 Sam Latona (VT) 141: #27 Jason Miranda (STAN) vs. Hunter Mason OR Mac Church (VT) 149: #10 Jaden Abas OR Dawson Sihavong (STAN) vs. #2 Caleb Henson (VT) 157: #8 Daneil Cardenas (STAN) vs. #7 Bryce Andonian (VT) 165: #16 Hunter Garvin OR Zach Hanson (STAN) vs. #25 Connor Brady OR Rafael Hipolito, Jr. (VT) 174: #20 Lorenzo Norman OR Tye Monteiro (STAN) vs. #2 Mekhi Lewis (VT) 184: Jack Darrah OR Abraham Wojcikiewicz (STAN) vs. #18 Sam Fisher OR Dakota Howard OR TJ Stewart (VT) 197: #14 Nick Stemmet (STAN) vs. #24 Andy Smith OR Sonny Sasso (VT) 285: Peter Ming (STAN) vs. #20 Hunter Catka OR Jimmy Mullen (VT)
  7. Tanner Jordan is a dangerous and perhaps overlooked wrestler. I would hate to be the guy facing him in the first round of nationals
  8. With Rasmusen receiving a medical forfeit at 285, it finished up as 21-17.
  9. Scratch that - its Van Tassell for the huskers
  10. Tanner Sloan vs Silas Allred
  11. Pinto with a late takedown to ice it over Berge. 7-2 final score
  12. Berge vs Pinto at 184
  13. 4-2 victory by DeVos. I'd keep Bubba as a starter over Brown Ton
  14. Bubba with all of the takedown attempts. DeVos has been operating from reattacks. I wondered how long until he was called for stalling honestly
  15. Great scrambled which was ruined by the cautionary attitude of the referee
  16. this looks like the improved version of Bubba we saw in the national tournament last year. Keeping it close with DeVos as its 4-2 here in the third.
  17. at 174 we have Bubba Wilson up from 165 in place of Elise Brown Ton. Facing off against the red hot, CKLV winner, Cade DeVos.
  18. Impressive win by Taylor there. 7-1 over Cook.
  19. Cook hit Taylor with the flying cement job - but they go out of bounds. Taylor is lucky he got to feel that without losing points
  20. Robb takes it by decision as well. We are beyond the break and into the most anticipated matchup of the night - Tanner Cook vs Antrell Taylor. I love watching both of these guys.
  21. Alek Martin rode out Lovett for the entire third period but falls 6-1 decision.
  22. Burwick falls to Cardinal by major decision Brock Hardy pins Caleb Gross.
