    I started a new D1 program which will begin next year. Each team had to make all of their current backups available to be selected in an expansion draft, but redshirts were protected.     Stemmet wasn't very good when he started college. He was getting steamrolled by most guys with a pulse. He's made significant progress over the years. I still think he's a far cry from AA, but that's besides the point.
