  1. Even if just a handful, there are always a few who I am convinced would AA. Christian Guzman of North Central is one this year. Even his backup Evan Spacht is an incredible wrestler - so they have great room competition at the weight to keep both guys sharp. Last year there was the guy from Wisconsin-Whitewater - Jarritt Shinhoster
  2. @MPhillips and @Ohio Elite vs @nhs67 125: Michael DeAugustino dec Brendan McCrone 3-0 133: Nick Bouzakis dec Dylan Ragusin 3-3 141: Jesse Mendez dec Sergio Lemley 6-3 149: Austin Gomez dec Dylan D'Emilio 6-6 157: Will Lewan dec Isaac Wilcox 9-6 165: Cam Amine dec Bryce Hepner 12-6 174: Rocco Welsh dec Shane Griffith 12-9 184: Jaden Bullock dec Seth Shumate 15-9 197: Luke Geog major Bobby Striggow 15-11 285: Lucas Davison dec Nick Feldman 18-11
  3. Since Smith beat Ramos already at CKLV (or Midlands or something), he has no incentive from the sport to compete against Ramos. Although most of us would frown upon that kind of behavior
  4. Strategic duck most likely
  5. Congrats on the W, @Southend. Any idea if Glicher is out for thr year or just temporarily? Also in the future, between he and Lillard, they have two excellent young wrestlers. Any idea who goes where after this year?
  6. I could be wrong but that's how I remember it. Still they were on pace for team victory. I think it's the right call if they feel he had a serious injury concern
  7. Pitzer was losing by something around 9-2 at that point. He could have likely finished the match without getting pinned but coach prioritized his wrestlers health over the dual outcome.
  8. Will Manning sign off on it
  9. It's a different perspective on life when something like that happens. You let fewer opportunities pass you by. I say this as someone who faced a near death experience as a young man and incorporated that into my life philosophy afterwards
  10. Otto looks very much undersized at 197. Supposedly he won the spot, despite being at a lower weight class, because he was decisively beating Tal Shahar in the room
  11. Could be a duck. I would have had my money on Turley
  12. Influenza A and ringworm are the two most likely
  13. I think Amine must have a large cut down to 165 given that he was so hungry he resorted to attempted cannibalism
  14. My predictions overall were really off base in this dual. The main takeaway for me is that Michael Blockhus is a dog
  15. Smith has beat Ramos, Spratley, Kaylor and Jordan this year alone. He also initiated action on almost all of the points in which McKee scored on counter. I think the weight will come down to matchups.

  17. heard from the crowd during review "it's not even close - let's wrestle!" LOL
  18. nice job tonight coach. team putting a whooping on presbyterian
  19. So this is a pancake dual?
  20. Good effort here from Lemley. He's not backing down from the moment
  21. I feel the pain for Nagao. I've been pinned in overtime
  22. This is finally a competitive match between guys who are trying stuff
