  1. Does nhs stand for National Honor Society? Because *nerd* Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I’m not saying I disagree, but I am curious what Ferrari has done in a lot of people’s eyes to have him capable of beating Plott. In his match against Starocci I saw a lot of sitting on one knee and fighting out of takedowns from the splits. Plott is approaching severely underrated territory imo. 3. The only way he tech’s Kueter is if one or two of his takedowns end up going feet to back and he gets swipes. Kueter isn’t good enough to keep it to a decision, but is athletic enough to keep from getting taken down 8 times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. 125 Flynn over Cruz 3-0 133 Ayala over Wells 3-3 141 Vombaur maj Schriever or Block 7-3 149 Parco maj Roberts 7-7 157 Teemer over Askey 7-10 165 Caliendo over sparks 7-13 174 Kennedy over Whiting 7-16 184 McEnelly over Arnold 10-16 197 Buchanan over Salazar 10-19 HWT Gable tech Kueter 15-19 Ranking possible upsets by highest to lowest in terms of likelihood (gophers favor) 1. Askey beating Teemer (will probably be a 1 TD match either way) 2. Sparks beating Caliendo 3. Wells beating Ayala — gap — 4. Whiting beating Kennedy (more likely if its Brands imo) 5. Salazar beating Buchanan (I think a major by Iowa is more likely than us winning) — gap — 6. Roberts over Parco. I don’t think we have any shot here at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. It’s more likely Buchanan bullies Salazar into a couple tilts and tech’s him than it is Salazar wins, imo. Buchanan is way too long for him. As much as it pains me to say. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Flynn over Cruz 3-0 Ayala over Wells 3-3 Vombaur maj Schriever 7-3 Parco maj Roberts 7-7 Askey dec Estrada 10-7 Caliendo dec Sparks 10-10 Kennedy dec Whiting 10-13 Mcenelly dec Arnold 13-13 Buchanan dec Salazar 13-16 Gable tech Kueter 18-16 IF, and it’s a big IF, Teemer is out, they may need him this weekend. Could come down to bonus without Teemer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I prefer Arnold. I think McEnelly will get to legs and finish twice if not more on Arnold. Ferrari… all bets are off. I think it’d be a 1 take down 4-1 match that could go either way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. They’re also a very young team currently. Bright future especially at 141-165. Not sure what’s going on at 125 and what the long term plans are at 174+ though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I hate ride outs as a rule. Not just because my team lost on them twice tonight, but it’s just a crap way to decide a match imo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Great, very fun dual. Sparks obviously wouldn’t have tech’d Gallagher and Askey wouldn’t have majored Sasso, but you go with who you got I suppose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Vombaur is damn good. He took Bartlett to the brink in a similar way last year at NCAA’s. Real woods in the Iowa dual too. He’s right there with the top guys, just needs to finish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Is it? Gophers still favored at 157, 165 and 184. I’m guessing a 5-5 split at this point Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. That’s a little rich coming from the HungusMungus Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. …his evil twin, Metch Misinbrink Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Damn, was hoping gophers might be in on them even a little bit. Seems like they’re not recruiting a soul these days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
