  1. Angelo and his brother (AJ JR) will end up at Iowa, I am being told.
  2. it is called a highflyer, and lee jumped across to the other side...no bueno.
  3. THIS 10000000%!!!!!!!!
  4. That shows how uninformed I am, I was told he was not a hold back and a true freshman (15)
  5. He is 15 years old, wrestling non starters or starters some are wresting for division 1 programs. I agree, best ever might be a stretch, but to act like this nothing short of amazing is silly. I know I have watched a lot of kids, and I have not watched anyone this good in a long ass time. Kolat was a killer, he was physical, and he would beat the shit out of you. Forrest is more slick, and smooth... We shall see how this ends up.
  6. Could this kid go down as the best ever? This is a new thing I know, highschooler's wrestling in college tourney's, but this simply amazes me.
  7. 100%
  8. all valid points. I think he IS tough as a boot, but it could be the grind combined with the weight cut. No way he was ever going to be a finalist, but I will be honest, I thought he might slide in as an AA. Titus match was closer than the score reflects, but Titus is not a world beater by any means. Big 12's will be interesting at that weight.
  9. What is going on with him? I know his shoulder looks banged up, but is this a case of too much too soon? The kid is an absolute stud, but he is not wrestling well right now.
  10. Lee being forced to go 3 periods, for sure makes things interesting.
  11. Challenges will be parking, I mean, there are 2 big parking garages on each side, and other areas to park, but that is my concern. Room in BOK, like I said, it holds over 19K and there were 17K in Detroit. Hotels close, no issue, Food and bars, all over down there. Clean, you won't have many if any bums chasing you for a dollar, TPD keeps that place pretty nice. Willie, you know I love my beer, there are places all around down there for beers and great food. If you walk another few blocks over there is another district that has even more stuff to do. I have travel is a B*tch, so I cannot comment on that, so that may be a downfall. The last part that is awesome, people here are not D*cks. People will greet you with open arms, open doors for you, and hell when you tell them you are from out of town, most will prolly buy you a beer. Arena across the street will be packed the whole time, folks will head over there and throw down, and then go back. There is a dustbowl where they serve beers and you can bowl, this is what a lot parents with kids do. There is a bar down there that is retro that has all 80 and 90's arcades and it is a bar. You will notice, Tulsa likes its beer as well. I am sure I will see you at some point since I missed you at Geary.
  12. you were in Geary, tell me how many people there would even go to NCAA's. 17K people were at NCAA's in Detroit last year, BOK holds over 19K, so it is good there. Food and beer all within walking distance. The only snag will be parking, I am telling you, Tulsa will be fun. Side Note: I am not talking cost, I am hearing flights and hotels are out of line....I cannot comment on that.
  13. I would gladly flip everyone of you cucks off to win a "boring" national championship. Wrestling fans are starting to turn into a bunch of bitches. I am an ou and app st fan, so I have no skin in the game when it comes to power house programs. What I can tell you, don't take this shit for granted, wrestling is still the best sport alive!
  14. Latona is having a great year. Brewer must be a stud when it comes to getting these light weights better.
  15. Beers? Anyone need another?

    Howe

He has his own wrestling club now, not sure where. I heard that OU tried to get him back and he turned it down.
  17. He's tough as hell. He has a great chance to AA if he keeps wrestling like this. I cannot wait for the Caleb Smith (App st) match with him.
  18. agree, great song.
  19. NUTS
  20. Again, no he is not.
  21. No he is not.
  22. Smith WAS a great coach. Back in the day, EVERYONE knew who JS was, and his accomplishments. These young bucks weren't alive when he was winning the olympics. Go look at Lovett on his recruiting. He didn't know JS, but he knew Jordan Burroughs. Tell me an okie state wrestler that he has "developed" from a good wrestler to a GREAT wrestler. Just this year, Mastro shows he is declining, agree? Fix was and is always a stud, but do you feel like he has got "better". Plott maybe? I feel like Plott has got better, but it is hard to see kids that you are thinking, man he is growing in that room and getting better. I am not even a PSU fan, but you can see that growth every year.
  23. This is always a tough tourney, and there are always some great matches. Stillwater and Edmond North will be in this. Oklahoma has some nationally ranked kids scattered throughout, and this tourney is a blind draw.

    Flo :(

Commercials suck, but I have watched two events now, and on both occasions that had "technical difficulty". Camera's off and I could not watch anything for a long period of time.
  25. I know Troy very well, he actually wrestled for us and our room was LEGIT. His family has made big time sacrifices to get him where he is at. He is tough as hell. Many don't know, he started at SEM, went to Oklahoma and then he went down to Texas and trained his ass off. He is going to be good, no doubt.
