After further review, I've got to agree with LJB here. ND is the west edge of the 'midwest', but not quite proper 'west.' Also, a point worth mentioning, NDSU is basically on the ND/MN border - more east by the length of ND. In any case, good stuff on this thread.

... let's be clear, overhook below the upper arm and instead on the elbow against the joint. and then twisting hips for leverage to swing in and snap it. Ouch, damage. Mspart then smacks the sh** out of him first - then calls it illegal and DQ's him. And then gives him a swift kick in the as* for good measure. Good work by the ref. That's the name of that tune. Posting link(s) one more time for those that are on the tail end of the thread. If I'd have pulled something like this, my coach would have slapped the sh** out of me afterward. Kids are soft now, living in a world of privilege and entitlement. Not even remotely afraid of rules or coaches. I guess, maybe it's better... but, I do have my reservations from time to time. This kid being one of those times.

I'll give you maybe 2 out of 5 stars. Not great at all, but solid effort.

Thanks for the thoughtful post. If anyone hasn't watched the video, watch it. Tanner is a very, tough wrestler, and he was looking around trying to figure out how the heck this guy was getting away with trying to maul him. It wasn't wrestling, it was a kid who clearly wasn't mentally stable.

To most of us, untrustworthy is an insult. Not to mention being a liar and a cheat. You seem to accept it willingly and gleefully... This is a weird deal.

Putting silly forum squabbles aside, let's get back to the subject at hand... This situation is a problem. The coaches and refs need to be held accountable, as well as the wrestler.

@poorwrestler Uff da, you are certainly not in an optimistic mood. Not sharing my results list, but I've got what I think is a realistic 5-5 match count... with bonus points deciding the dual. It'll be extremely tough, but MN can get this at home.

You are hiding behind a brand new username because you don't have the courage to use your real username. That shows a serious lack of not only courage, but also intelligence and creativity. You obviously aren't a particularly bright bulb. You seem fixated on the word 'assault' ... I used it as a metaphor. This would be a good chance for a dim bulb like yourself to learn something. This guy isn't dirty, he's downright criminal. That wasn't wrestling, that was 'assault with intent to do bodily harm.' He needs to be disciplined by removing him from eligibility for wrestling. Good time for him to start his MMA training. Whichever of his coaches were aware of what was happening in the match and did nothing to stop it, they need to be harshly disciplined.

Yes, it's true... Folks here are calling out other fans for not cheering the way they think they should be cheering. Some kind of crazy going on here.

He does. Cass is pretty strong with upper body... but he can also get thrown. Against a good guy, I'd say he's better than 50/50 but not much.
