  1. Cool - Did you mention you were using the information in the replies (including pics) to identify people and to train AI?
  2. "TDS" is even more stupid than "Woke." If stupid is the path you want to choose, these are the words to use.
  3. Actually, it does a little bit. Not much, but a little. It's a well written post. You dismiss it under the guise that it's not about the topic that you are thinking about right now? If you don't want to participate in the discussion, then ignore it. No need to make a dismissive, nonsense post. If someone takes the time to write a well thought out post. Just let it go if there are too many words for you.
  4. Snyder to OkSt is exactly the kind of thing that we need. More press, more interest, more wrestling. The soap opera adds to it for some. For hardcore wrestling fans it gets better, too. (The creeps who want to judge others? Start with Trump being a felon multiple times - when you're done, then try Snyder.)
  5. C'mon scooter. We know you and Bigbrog are the only douches here. (And @JimmySpeaks is at least 2/3 douche.) I'm just looking to 8647 - as soon as possible. Do all you little boys have a problem with that?
  6. Nothing low about it. "Third time's the charm"... after (2) impeachments, we may see another one coming. Would need to see some R's switch sides, but that isn't necessarily impossible. Will it actually 8647? That would take a larger vote that may not be able to ultimately remove him. But never say never.
  7. No - that is not a separate issue/conversation at all. We're talking about the Qatar jet being "given" to the US and what a historic failure it is on so many levels: The current AF-1's are the best of the best in the air right now. No other jet in the world comes close. They are in great working order. The Qatar jet is garbage compared to the AF-1's currently in service A Qatar $400 million jet that costs $1B to upgrade to make usable is an incredibly dumb investment I have no doubt Trump advisors have made this clear to him. It has a shiny interior with a lot of use of gold - those with mush for brains like that. It won't be done in time for Trump to use it before the end of his term. It's a bad look for Trump to take sloppy seconds from Arab's "old" cast away planes Boeing contract for (2) AF-1 aircraft is still moving along and due within a few years No changes have been made. These will eliminate any use of the Qatar stand-in. (The stand-in that would cost $1B to upgrade.) Will be done within a year/two of the projected time frame of any dumb Qatar jet upgrade. There is no logical explanation for Qatar becoming AF-1. Zero. None. So what is actually going on here? You're hearing it here first. The Qatar jet becoming AF-1 is a lie. An outright lie. It is too incredibly stupid a move for even the Trump administration to try to make happen. Instead, Trump will soon announce he will be making the Qatar jet available for non-AF-1 government use. For other government departments and/or personnel. Oh wait, didn't WKN just mention Kristi Noem wants to spend $40 million for a new jet? Perfect spin, Trump "saves" the taxpayers $40 million by giving her his Qatar jet. If it's not exactly that, it will be very, very close. Politicians are nearly all criminals. And Trump is the biggest swamp criminal in the history of presidents.
  8. So you agree Trump is trash, too. Finally.
  9. And the new trillion+ dollar Golden Dome? With the first $175 Billion over the next 3 years already Trump approved. 100 DOGE's couldn't keep up with all the new spending. There was never any intention to balance the budget by this administration. Never. It was all smoke and mirrors. We are clearly going even deeper in debt, while the politicians line their pockets on the way there. Musk really just wanted to get the government's data - that was his prize. Why do you think Trump is asking that the internal documents of DOGE be kept secret from the public?
  10. You're not wrong - but the trick is what new spending do we NOT introduce and what spending do we CUT/LIMIT? I'll start: NOT introduce new spending The ultra-expensive 'Golden Dome' that is mostly in the idea phase with budget killing costs for years to come (We don't have to kill it - but it can wait. We can't afford more defense dept contracts right now.) CUT tax breaks to the wealthy - let them pay their fair share of taxes SALT - It's a tax break that primarily benefits the wealthy. New tax breaks - No more breaks for the very wealthy. Let them tighten their belt just like everyone else NOT CUT the things that were promised to be not touched during the Presidential campaign Social Security - don't touch it. This was a clear mandate from the voters and a presidential promise. Medicaid - don't touch it. This was a promise by the president that he should keep If you think there's a good reason you can't keep your promises, be honest and tell the country. Good people don't make promises and then pretend they didn't when it suits them. Tell the truth. I'll add something more - some of which I've already mentioned in an earlier post: The White House has been clear that the ongoing tariff problems are going to be painful and could last a while before it starts to pay off. What they haven't said is that it could backfire and become a huge problem. The US citizens have been asked to tighten their belts, limit doll count for their kids, and be ready to feel some pain. The White House has also been clear about telling corporate America to be ready and accept the pain. Walmart most recently being told by the WH to 'eat' the added cost the tarrifs cost rather than raise prices to reflect them. The White House needs to tighten their belts, limit their expenses and be ready to feel some pain, too. Politicians aren't better than citizens - it's time they stop acting like they are. Boeing is on contract to build the next gen AF-1 ... full stop. Leave it alone. No more spending CUT Military parade for ~$90 million Redecorating the Oval Office with 24k gold? Seriously? We don't need that right now either. "Read the room"... or in this case "Read the country" CUT every single piece of non-essential luxury spending the WH has planned Regular Americans are tightening our belts. You have no legitimate excuse not to.
  11. Wow so expected. Orwells face caught fire while fishing. The fish sold in restaurants owned by farmers that were inferior. My dog dug a hole, but I don't remember how deep it was. It was black as the sun during an eclipse. She sells seashells down by the seashore was the Russian frogman telemetry. SxSW
  12. If you believe what some programming code tells you to believe, then you just passed the test. You are certifiably an idiot and should never be trusted. Ever.
  13. Dopes? Who's the dope here. Plane is donated to USAF > Trump controls USAF > Trump controls plane donation > Trump controls plane. Simple enough even for you parrots.
  14. For the 4th time, the government repeatedly changed the requirements of the contract - which simply delayed the process. Change orders are adjustments to the original contract. And are agreed upon by both sides in order to go forward. It's so simple. You must be either 12 yrs old or jross.
  15. "Memory holed"? What are you smoking? Why would you accuse me of that? Had to look it up (because why would I remember it?) and it is: "2023 – Former US President Donald Trump is indicted for his role in the January 6 United States Capitol attack, his third indictment in 2023" So. Maybe you had me confused with someone else. I hope so, nothing else makes any sense here at all.
  16. I tried. I really did. But I have no idea what your post means here. What part of my post are you referring to? And what was the 'exact same thing' you mentioned? I'm honestly not trying to be difficult - I just don't know what point you're trying to make.
  17. I've made my point clear. Twice. That Boeing can't fairly be blamed for being late or over budget when they have received change orders from the client. These changes cost more money and take more time. (I've now made it three times.) Which President(s) requested the changes you ask? From what I have gathered, the change order requests were made primarily by Trump. But - I haven't spent a great deal of time thinking about that or researching it. Biden may well have made a number of requests as well. That is all beyond the scope of the point I was making. But, if you would like to run that information down, I would be interested in reading what you find out.
  18. I have no interest in any of that level of detail, but if you do - have at it. Knock yourself out. The simple fact is that change orders consume time and money. To blame them solely on Boeing just isn't right.
  19. Bundles of hate lashing out at others because they have differing opinions is just not a great idea. People will always have differing opinions. Because of their varied experiences, varied perspectives, varied priorities, and (let's be honest) varied levels of intelligence. Tack on to that the fact that we're all imperfect - and we'll always live in some version of opinion soup. Social media makes it so easy to lash out and provides little reason not to. More importantly, those that run the social media sites make "tons and tons" of money by doing so. Without the bundles of hate, people wouldn't tune in to the sites in anywhere near the large numbers that they do. Outrage is addictive - an addiction that generates a lot of revenue. My opinions include believing that on J6 Trump's speech was inciting violence. Telling people to march down to the Capitol and "fight like hell" didn't seem like a non-violent directive to me. They ended up fighting like hell, just as instructed. That's just my opinion. Like it or not, agree with it or not, but there's no reason for anyone to flip out over it if you have a different opinion. Just different opinions. Another opinion of mine is that taking over buildings and threatening other students does not constitute legitimate protest. As you say, those are the actions of bundles of hate. Not level-headed serious-minded protesters. They bothered a lot of people and accomplished nothing. But I'm not going to get unhinged over it.... or, worse yet, let other people try to manipulate me to try to get me to get unhinged over it - or perhaps to vote for them. I see a lot of things that need fixing just about every direction I look. But stomping, screaming, and lashing out won't fix a single one of those things. It just makes each one that much worse (Even if it is "normal" social media behavior.) IMO, the 8647 post was dumb. And trying to sell it as some kind of huge serious threat is just more useless stomping.
  20. Trump... STOP SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY Just like us regular people who need to limit the number of dolls our girls can get. They can get by with 2. Military parade on your birthday? Estimated cost of ~90 million? CANCEL IT NOW - we don't need it any more than my girls need another doll. Estimated $1 Billion cost to upgrade a 'free' (valued at $400m) plane from Qatar? CANCEL IT NOW - we don't need it any more than my girls need another doll. First President to attend the SuperBowl? (and leave early) Why at a cost of ~20 million? CANCEL ANY FUTURE SUCH EVENTS NOW - you get the drill; we don't need it. I've grown tired of hearing how citizens need to tighten our belts while your tariffs destroy our budgets. Citizens are not doing well economically. You should understand that and act accordingly. Asking us to endure isn't nearly enough. STOP spending so much money yourself - tighten your belt just as you've asked us to.
  21. I do understand that. A few years ago, I had a young energetic gal stop by my house to encourage me to sign her petition against abortion. I explained to her clearly that I absolutely hate abortion. But far be it from me to tell a single woman, much less all women, what they must do based on my personal opinion. I'd hope they'd all choose life. I encourage it, but it's not my place to choose for them. God gives us free will. We all make our own choices, both good and bad. At the end of the day, we all have to deal with the consequences. That gal stomped, screamed, shouted, and swore at me all the way to the next house on the block. "Silence is violence!", etc. Blah, blah, blah. That young gal was wasting her time bothering others in the neighborhood and achieving nothing. What a pathetic bundle of hate that one was. That was a few years ago. And now, bundles of hate like that still exist. Unable to accept that others will never agree with them. Bothering others and achieving nothing.
  22. Now - just in the interest of fairness - we should all acknowledge at least one simple fact here. If you are contracted to complete a job for the government, and in the middle of the work - you are requested to make multiple significant changes to the job by the President. It should surprise nobody at all that the estimated time of delivery will be pushed out to a later date. That is not Boeing's fault. My only point here is that it feels like posters are blaming Boeing solely for delays - when, in fact, at least some of the delays were caused by the requested changes from the client. Changes take time.
  23. This one alone seems worth the price of the ticket... except it's a $30 ticket to stream, so maybe not a great value. Dake was looking and moving s'moove - so I'm giving him a small edge.
  24. I can appreciate how you feel. Everyone - let's look at it from a different perspective: Let's say you are "given" a car that is worth $10k and you know it'll cost you ~$20k in updates to make it usable And you also know that the ~$20k in updates will need to be removed after using it for a year or maybe two. Note that removal of updates isn't cheap either, maybe less if the remaining shell is to be junked. You'll have $30k invested in a $10k car, that will be worth little to nothing. By all measures, this is an EXTREMELY TERRIBLE INVESTMENT. This is all regardless of what happens to the car after the updates have been removed. The current AF-1 and AF-2 are the absolute best in the world. Any notion that these are somehow not up to par is without any logical basis or reason. There is no good reason to not wait for the next generation of aircraft to be completed. As Qatar trolled - Trump took the bait: Qatar exposed Trump's personal uncontrollable greed to the entire world. They also exposed that he, as the oldest ever US President, has mush for brains. If he didn't, he'd have listened to his advisers that told him to stay away from it. Qatar has been well known for funding terrorist organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah for some time. Qatar casts their used plane aside and gets a new one. Trump sits like a hungry dog waiting to jump on their old used up one that they toss him. Pathetic and disgusting. The President of the USA needs to start acting more presidential.
