  1. I don't disagree (I do like using double negatives) with anything you've said here. Fair points.
  2. It's eerily specific...like, if I were to go to the side of the highest peak in the Delaware Water Gap, what else would I find?
  3. I second above- it really depends. I remember in 2018 USAW called me about being team translator for Greco for their camp which was held in a small city named Tata, about 50km outside of Budapest, to which I responded, "Wait, we have a Greco team?" I didn't get a second call back! haha! I bring this up because I vaguely remember their camp starting 3 weeks before the actual tournament (Budapest, Hungary), but it varies year to year based on a bunch of factors.
  4. I'm interested to see how Aden Valencia and Jack Consiglio works out at 141lbs for Stanford as both are coming off of redshirt freshman year. I'm think both will have decent careers. Mason Gibson at Rutgers piques my interest- he could have success As does Jaxon Joy at Cornell - I thought he represented himself well at U20s Although not new wrestler (but new to Minnesota), I hope Jore Volk does well coming off medical redshirt Also Miguel Estrada at Iowa, although they pulled his redshirt (stupid), I'm still counting him here and I think he can be very good if he doesn't lose focus.
  5. Who's the Russian? U20 European Championships is end of June so not even decided. What am I missing? Lay it on me, Truzzcat!
  6. James in final (only). Cerchio (2nd) and Perentin for 3rd. Good showing for them!
  7. Zepeda and Vega on Mat 2 locked at 6-6 going into second period. It's intriguing matchup (and action-packed)!
  8. I just muted the Flo announcers . . . can't do it anymore . . .
  9. Where's Villasenor headed to college? OKST is gonna be loaded at lower weights. Does he go elsewhere? Impressive showing for him (although he loses to Knox).
  10. I def think Lockett beats both (my point being James/Denny would also fare well at worlds). I really want to see a James/Lockett match to see how James stacks up. Like I said, we're in good hands at 74kg!
  11. I'm fine with either being our U20 rep (including finals). We're in good hands at 74kg.
  12. Hard not to think the same thing . . . and he's age appropriate for a junior in high school!
  13. I think they called him a Penn Stater . . .
  14. He's put on a lot of muscle between since beginning last year. I still think he's going to Stanford- I don't think he follows his brother to OKST. I'm wrong a lot too, though.
  15. I do like how they're running U20s straight through; I wish they would do that more often . . . I hate waiting around!
  16. I never let facts get in the way of message board postings!
  17. Desmond's decent- mine was more of a rebuke of Castillo, who seems to be seeded high all the time and hasn't won anything in like, 3 years. Baffling . . .
  18. Doesn't James have Joe Sealey next round? Either way . . .
  19. That's not an upset; not because Desmond is so good but because Castillo isn't.
  20. Dude, how does Antonio Mills make 57kg?
  21. very poor. Right call though. I really was hoping Starocci would go through as I think it's an easier matchup for Zahid, who I want to be our rep.
  22. Agreed. But in my mind, these three are GOATS, along with Medved. I'd also make the case for Mustafa Dagistanli, Yasar Dogu, Ivan Yarygin, Anatoly Roschin, Mavlet Batirov, Besik Kudukhov, Bruce Baumgartner, and Kurt Angle. There's so many great ones!
  23. is anyone else having problems with the split screen (2 mat) view? When I click on the second mat, it exits out of 2 mat view and onto one. I know better than to contact FLO customer support.
  24. Barlett wins, but I think the score will be closer than the actual match, given that Barlett's not exactly an offensive juggernaut.
