HFS guy.
Top notch and rather respectable predictions.
You had me going. I thought these were your attempts at seeding and I couldn't tell if it was a troll job or just very poorly done.
As far as predictions go, prior to knowing seeds? I see no other attempts post-conferences, so they're the best ones on these forums so far.
Tanner Hall is going to return next season after his mission, while Schultzy does an Oly-shirt.
If he pulls an AA in it would likely count as the oldest ever at 46 years young.
It baffles me that both Lamont and Dow, both of Wisconsin, look like they don't know or understand the concept if NCAA Collegiate Folkstyle wrestling. At all.
Gents,
After the first round in the 9th place brackets they reseed so the highest seed remaining (in that bracket) faces the lowest seed remaining (in that bracket). That is why some of them look off.
I think so. Sloan is behind Dean in coaches rank and RPI, though. He is also behind Beard in coaches rank and RPI as well. He has the winning percentage criteria over both. He might have the quality wins, as well - not sure.
Think of it as a winner takes all. 1st of that bracket would be the 9th placer.
If the weight allocated 9, then they will have a 'true 3rd(10th) match from that bracket's 2nd(10th) and 3rd(11th) so long as the 2nd(10th) and the 3rd(11th) did not face each other in that specific '9th place' bracket.
Selection criteria for an at-large includes 'next man up' in it.
Meaning if your conference had 8 allocations and you were the 9th or if it had 10 allocations and you were the 11th or 5 allocations and you were the 6th, etc.
Meaning whatever your conference has for allocations, they must place at least one (1) spot higher.
If 13e has 9 allocations then they will at least place to 10th.
The immortal Mikey Carr, Illinois, up against Gilcher, Indiana, on Mat 4. Gilcher looks at least a weight class larger on this four screen B1G+ display.
This ended up being fake news.
Gallagher had nothing for him.
It was impressive, really. 8-0 Major for Siebrecht w/ well over two minutes of riding time. An obvious huge skill disparity.
