  1. You're cute when you're angry.
  2. That isn't what that means and I expect you know that. It is equal parts funny and sad when people think they're smart when they're truly ignorant.
  3. I don't think so. Parris on raw power alone would cause damage.
  4. So am I.
  5. Up until 'rona I had gone to at least either B1Gs or NCAAs (both a handful of times) every year since 1985(86?). This is my first one back, so if I do go awol please forgive me. Also, if you hear of a semi-elderly, fit AF black man streaking down I-44 with a Porterhouse in one hand and a half gallon of Jagermeister in the other... just after Parris wins Gold - mind ya own.
  6. Let us assume that they have to meet in the middle somewhere... Let's say 65 and 57 have autobids for 2025 worlds for US Gold Medalists ( Gillman and Retherford just to piss people off). All theorhetical. USAW decides non-Gold medalist weights will have to be competed. Medalists get the bye to Final-X still, though. They decide that US Open for weights without gents sitting out will get a bye to Final X (like this year) and for some odd reason they give a +2 to the Open. Pantaleo is sitting to Final X at 70, so no real reason for Johnny D to go 70(72) and he is light enough he thinks he can go 61(63). Him and Lee end up being seeded on opposite sides, somehow. Johnny D beats Fix in the Semifinals and Lee beats Gross setting this match up for a match well after weigh-ins. Spencer weighed in at 60.2 KG (132.7lbs) and in an interview leading up said he dod zero cutting to make weight. He makes an Instagram post when he was getting ready to head down for warmups actually weighing 133.0 even - with his sweats on. Johnny D weighed in at the full 63 KG (138.9lbs). He sees Spencer's 'joke' and replies with his own, with him also in his warmups sans shoes, weighing 146.5lbs (66.5 KG). ... How does this match go?
  7. Anyone know how wi-fi is in the arena? I may be awol for a bit if zonky.
  8. Actually I don't like how 149 is for me and I am less confident in bonus... Psyched myself out there...
  9. I like my team. I like my team for bonus points, too.
  10. Still waiting to hear about the mouth spitting/paid room stuff. Had a long week and it is barely Tuesday. I will be sitting pretty in a box come tomorrow, though. Hope to see you there.
  11. No. I don't have that itch to scratch. This is a thread about their 125, 133, and 197(184?) options for next season. This isn't a thread about stroking your ego or lack of Engrish comprehension or whatever the hell Beyonce said about Rihanna (Is it Jay-Z's?!)... If you would like it to be, I welcome you to create your own thread and we can attempt to stay on topic there. If you dare to be competent, that is. Or not.
  12. Should give him Redding, Iowa State, if he doesn't respond. He is the highest available seed remaining.
  13. Well, if you round - here is what you get. Penn State - 2 Iowa - 1 Cornell - 1 Pittsburgh - 1 Iowa State - 1 Michigan - 1 Nebraska - 1 Northern Iowa - 1 North Carolina - 1 Using LOGIX this is what we get. 125 - Spencer Lee, Iowa 133 - Roman Bravo-Young, Penn State 141 - Cole Matthews - Pittsburgh 149 - Johnny Diakomihalis, Cornell 157 - Austin O'Connor, North Carolina 165 - David Carr, Iowa State 174 - Mikey Labriola, Nebraska 184 - Parker Keckeisen, Northern Iowa 197 - Max Dean, Penn State 285 - Mason Parris, Michigan If I did an over/under of 3.5 for this being accurate I would go the under.
  14. Whatever it was ended up being a three month suspension that he has already served. Must have better lawyers than OSU.
  15. Also, it is okay to be wrong. In this case you were. That is fine. You ignorantly (ignorance literally means you didn't know better, not that you are stoopid) used a terminology that is often misused - especially on here. Also, I am trying to do better and grow. <- See 'keggers' Also, also recency bias is allowed to be accurate and true. Also, also, also, just spit in my mouth and pay for the room already. Please. This pregame shit is for the birds.
  16. Then you are using the term 'tongue in cheek' improperly as it's meaning is something along the lines of 'Ironic in an insincere way.' Since you obviously did not know that, then you are simply being argumentative in an ignorant way. Rather smart fellar once said 'Ignorance is the root of misfortunate.' He was correct in this instance.
  17. The irony is that you aren't really being ironic or insincere about it.
  18. @Jerry Callo You have the floor to select a new 133lber - I do believe.
  19. I think these guys match up very well with their respective and potential '2' seed opponents in their quarters.
  20. 125 - Medley, University of Michigan 133 - Ragusin, University of Michigan 141 - Mattin, University of Michigan 149 - Lamer, University of Michigan or Lovett, Central Michigan 157 - Lewan, University of Michigan or Saldate, Michigan State or Munson, Central Michigan 165 - Amine, University of Michigan 174 - ThugMassa G, University of Michigan 184 - Finesilver, University of Michigan or Malczewski, Michigan State 197 - Dean, Penn State (Lowell HS) or Caffey, Michigan State or Davison, Northwestern 285 - Parris, University of Michigan
  21. Why? He now has a guy who beat him during this actual season or a guy who decked him a few years ago. The Gomez that lost to Rooks at B1Gs would have been a very easy match for Sasso. That is even if Gomez won his first match, which was not a guarantee.
  22. Sasso going from possibly Gomez in R2 to Realbuto or Moore in R2...
  23. If this were just for fun I might be okay with being a ponce about it... that said, being that there was a massive buy-in I think he should be allowed to pick.
  24. Guys, I don't think this JC is the same as the last JC. This ***my mother would not approve*** has a sense of humor.
  25. I believe it was said that 'We draft the guys, not the position' or something along those lines. The gents who picked Cardinale or any other guy who has missed significant time this year knew there were risks, right? That said, I am okay letting him pick from the pool at 133.
