    I'm not sure if Kerk is a true underdog here. Sure, Cass is undefeated against him but their last match was going all Kerk's way outside of the final seconds of the 3rd period (when Kerk gave up an untimely reversal) and the first 20 seconds of sudden victory. Still, as a hawk fan, I'm picking Cass. I'm a little nervous though. Should be a good match.

    Im not sure if Starocci will have the same level of dominance but great point nonetheless. If RBY beats Fix in the finals while maintaining a comparable bonus point rate to the other contenders, it's hard to see how he doesn't win the Hodge

    Full disclosure, I'm a huge Iowa fan, I just like to stir sh*t up. With that out of the way, it looks like the Hawks will need to rely on young Harris until Lee's return. Maybe Spencer makes an appearance for Iowa State but maybe not. If it's Harris for the rest of 2022, do the hawks get a single win here?

    Understood and agreed on the latter part. Perhaps I'm simply overreacting but it seems like going on for about 10 years now the hawks have at least 1 major injury each year. It feels like more than any other team but that's why I posed the question in the first place -because I don't know for certain. Maybe WKN can crunch the injury stats for us

    Coach Brands stated during this week's pre-meet presser that Real Woods was "day to day" due to an unspecified injury. Now, just this morning the FRL bronies reported that Woods is out of the All Star. Maybe it's just a minor injury and Woods will be in the lineup in a couple weeks but doesn't it seem like Iowa wrestlers have a higher tendency to be injured than other teams?
