PSU has a 67-3 record in their 7 dual meets this year. That's got to be some kind of record.

It still amazes me that Marinelli never made the NCAA finals. Dominant during the regular season, won B1G every time, then crumbled like a 10 day old cookie under the bright lights at NCAAs. Well that might be a bit of an overstatement considering he was a 3 time AA, but you know what I mean. I'm still a little surprised he never finished higher than 5th.

I really admired Joseph's wrestling. He wasn't a great technician, but I appreciated his fearlessness on the mat. After losing to IMAR twice as a FR, Joseph stuck him in the finals. I like when guys aren't afraid to go upper body.

IOWA has 49 straight NCAAs with at least 3 AAs? That's insane.

I walked on to a good D1 team and would've been a starter as a FR if a JUCO national champ hadn't transferred in at the last minute. Total pisser, but you earn what you get in this sport. He was better than me, I was too skinny to go fullblown fatboy (HWT), and didn't have enough bodyfat to pull down to the next weight. Too bad, I threw the 177 pound starter around in practice like a gorilla with a suitcase. He's wasn't that great, lol.

Do you guys think Surber cracks through and finally AAs this year? I could see him maybe going 7th/8th or falling short at R12.

Obviously PSU has the best bench in the country, by a country mile. I think last year they had a legit claim for PSU's scrubs being a top 10 team, but this year....I think maybe top 20?

The difference between me and kids today is if I was banging a hot teacher or adult woman when I was a minor I'd have been smart enough to keep my mouth shut and keep the pu$$y flowing, know what I mean? These kids today can't keep their big mouths shut.

Maybe he was just a natural showoff. Maybe he felt like trying to embarrass Nelson. I never heard of Gelogaev after he wrestled at OSU, did he move back to Russia and try to make their World team?

Gelogaev was a fun watch. He was so dumb though that he cost himself an appearance in the NCAA finals that one year with the "Flying Squirrel". Tony Nelson batted him out of the air like a fly. I guarantee he'd have won the title that year if he wasn't so dumb.

I don't remember that. I'd probably respect Lee more if I'd heard him propping Ramos, but mostly I just remember him defaulting out at NCAAs after getting pinned.

I remember that! After Picc stacked Lee I saw an interview where Lee actually laughed it off. I'd have never guessed he'd turn heel in a couple years.

Ramos pinning Lee was one of the all time great moments in NCAA wrestling, no doubt about it.
