A lot of MMA fanboys hate Bo because he said he was a better wrestler than Jon Jones. Guess what? Bo IS a lot better wrestler than Jon Jones. Some MMA fans hate Bo because he said he'd be able to whip a chimp in a fight. Now the fact is that chimps have 30% more power than humans per pound. But Bo is 100% bigger than most chimps and is probably 50% stronger than an average human (at least) and would outmuscle them, in addition to having actual technique. Chimps are overrated. Bo is confident, and should be. He's a tough go in MMA. He's the best college wrestler to take part in the sport so far, and he's always trying to learn more stuff.

I usually root for guys on a team basis, but a wrestler can win me over with a good interview. I remember rooting for an ISU guy a few years back just because he was a cool kid. Also guys who come off as douchy can make me root against them even if I like their team.

I'm not a PSU fanboy and I've always liked Bo Nickal.

The NCSU wrestlers gave pretty good scrap though, you have to be satisfied with that. Fishback kept it pretty close, although he stalled his ass off nearly the entire match, with Plott. His picture before the match reminded me of this guy from Animal House.

Robinson surprised me, I didn't know he was as good as he is. I think Spratley probably takes him next time. Fish wrestled a pretty good match. He scrambled better than Scott, nullified Scott's upper body stuff, and got off a couple good takedowns. That crazy takedown/NF at the end sealed the deal. I could easily see another match between those guys ending with the exact opposite score. Cael Hughes was impressive. I wonder what's happening with him and Witcraft?

Wrestestat adds in a component based on previous success, but Sasso is up two weight classes. He's wrestling guys who are mostly stronger than he is now. I think Sammy is an R16 guy this year, R12 at best.

Kerkvliet has improved a fair amount since Gable last beat him. I think he might have a chance against Gable because of Gable being rusty. But I can't see Hendrickson beating Gable or Kerk. Great kid, but those guys are both a good deal better than he is on the mat.

I just looked at his record on wrestlestat. He still hasn't taken a college loss and has over 90% bonus rate as a RS Fr. Teched R12 Colton Hawks as a RS last year. Would be amazing if he went undefeated and won the NCAA title.

I wrestled with the flu at a big open tournament one year. I didn't realize I was sick until I was in the semifinals, but by then I felt like crap.
