    Wrestestat adds in a component based on previous success, but Sasso is up two weight classes. He's wrestling guys who are mostly stronger than he is now. I think Sammy is an R16 guy this year, R12 at best.

    Could be pretty fun. I think Scott should probably be the favorite but Fish will have the crowd behind him. , h I think Witcraft or Hughes would be favored tonight over Orine, but I'd expect a tight match.

    Kerkvliet has improved a fair amount since Gable last beat him. I think he might have a chance against Gable because of Gable being rusty. But I can't see Hendrickson beating Gable or Kerk. Great kid, but those guys are both a good deal better than he is on the mat.

    I just looked at his record on wrestlestat. He still hasn't taken a college loss and has over 90% bonus rate as a RS Fr. Teched R12 Colton Hawks as a RS last year. Would be amazing if he went undefeated and won the NCAA title.

    I wrestled with the flu at a big open tournament one year. I didn't realize I was sick until I was in the semifinals, but by then I felt like crap.

    I think PK's chances of winning the next time they wrestle will be higher than the last time. I wouldn't be shocked if he beat Carter, actually. I'd make CS a 2 to 1 favorite if I was a bookie.

    It still amazes me that Marinelli never made the NCAA finals. Dominant during the regular season, won B1G every time, then crumbled like a 10 day old cookie under the bright lights at NCAAs. Well that might be a bit of an overstatement considering he was a 3 time AA, but you know what I mean. I'm still a little surprised he never finished higher than 5th.

    I really admired Joseph's wrestling. He wasn't a great technician, but I appreciated his fearlessness on the mat. After losing to IMAR twice as a FR, Joseph stuck him in the finals. I like when guys aren't afraid to go upper body.
