A quick google search shows trans day of visibility has been a thing for 15 years now and always falls on March 31. Easter changes dates every single year. How is Easter cancelled or changed or affected in anyway way at all by this lol

how many more dates do they need?

brian stelter said they chose march 31 so as to spread out the dates...

but we all know why they chose the 31st... b/c it sometimes falls on easter

Not sure how this turned into R vs D again, but what is hilarious is that the OP is so scared of a book...how mentally weak do you have to be to be that afraid of a book.  And aren't these the type of people that scream against and yell about "book bans"??  Hypocrisy at it's finest!

thats funny. it was posted as a dig.

    no other reason.

    R v D.

Freestyle used to be horrible to watch. People playing the edge, ball grabs, lack of action, alleged corruption, etc.

But then the IOC voted to cut wrestling from the Olympics, which put UWW in survival mode. One of the results was a slate of rule changes that made freestyle fun to watch. IMO it's now better than folkstyle. Among the best of those rule changes -- again IMO -- is the step out rule.

ball grabs had nothing to do with pushout.

I have always enjoyed freestyle. through all the rules changes.

tell me, what wrestling technique improved from the pushout?

the ability to walk a guy out of bounds when i have his ankle in my armpit?

or the ability to drop to my knees and get pushed out?

him and the other top coaches are on the phone with the head official pretty often, I actually think it contributes to a lot of confusion with coaches behavior, most know what the refs are being told to emphasize.

I also think he wins challenges because he good cop bad cops it with cunningham.

you mean they (the coaches) call the head official during the tournament?

    patty cake step game

    push up position hand tag

     dodge ball

what is patty cake step game?

  6. agree.

some guy on twitter said that he announces like he is at a bar with JB

i think thats why it's good.

think about John Madden in the NFL.

    it's near the same.

should DC know the rules a bit better, probably.

@MidwestMan- hoping others there do chime in.  I thought the whole setup was awesome.  Arena was really impressive.  Food lines were not long.  Prices for food in arena were ok but better than on have seen elsewhere.  Great special effects s in arena.  Bathrooms kept clean and stocked (from what I saw).

Local restaurant food prices well less than East coast.  Had some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had.  And I’ve had Italian.   Many places to hang out close to arena.

Need to get back to get to the WWI memorial and museum.  Looks amazing.

    I could go on …

    mm italian!

    where did you go?

I'm not done talking about this, and my wife and kids are still getting up. So, here goes...

First, a disclaimer: While I have been an OSU fan all of my life (a legacy case), I stan with Ragusin. John Smith worries about the refs and intricacies of skirting the rules way too much. He did it as an athlete, and he does it as a coach. I imagine it was a part of Cowboy wrestling culture when he got there, and he has carried on the tradition. This preoccupation wins some matches (Fix vs Suriano part 1) and loses some matches (Fix vs Suriano part 2). I can't say if it leads to more wins than loses, but it does leave me with a bad taste in my mouth either way. It just seems that  constantly trying to game the system is bad juju.

But last night, what other options did they have? Every time Fix moved forward or even thought about initiating action, he got burned. The only time he got close to scoring was in the scramble on the edge, a scramble initiated by Vito's attack. If you know you're outmatched going in -- like the dude's got more physical and technical tools in every position -- do you just concede? Or do you do try to stall, bitch, and brick your way to victory?

knowing the rules is very important.

I mean how does cael win so many challenges?

Other posters. I hate when guys try to finish shots I want everyone to be walking single off the Mat and just trying to shoot dudes off. That's so sick. My blood doesn't even get pumping unless there's a battle to see if the guy getting pushed can drop to his knees fast enough and his opponent can't circle behind because a step out is a point and also can't push him out on his knees. Oh baby ruin my sport.

It's trashstyle season. If you want the step out go watch h it.

I like free. but I agree with most of what you say here!!

everyone thinks the level in free went up with the pushout... not really.

You are right.  People complained...and then the overall level of wrestling went through the roof.  Eastern bloc wrestlers developed cardio.  Iran made a killing on it.  And India developed a team.

I have yet to see the level of wrestling go up in free

Explain to me where I slighted you and then I can educate you on the history of your religion. I beleive in God. I love the story and message of Jesus. You being close minded means nothing to me. Most Christians today arnt really christian and I have no problem saying so. If you do you should take a look around.

i quoted you once already. read it

Yes but not Aaron. Most Christians do not have a grasp on the books, their history, and what they mean. They are not active learners. They are the same as people who just listen to the news. I myself do not do that. And as I said I also assume Brooks does not do that. As a Christian you ought to know the state of the world right now and it ain't great for God fearing people.

Edit. Christians do worship the Jewish God. It's just fact. Look at the lineage of the books man...

i know this. most christians DO.
