i do enjoy those

which is my point
if they are using it to turn... fine
using it to ride... stall

It is possible to work a turn with the ankle hook. Holding an ankle with your hands it is not. End of that silly question.

but yes, tell me about all the times guys are turning people with the leg hooked...

And it’s not stalling. Which people should know if they read the rule book.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalkcurious... havn't seen a rule book in years... what does it say specifically about this ride...
and again, ipose the question.. how a hand grasping the ankle a five count. but sitting on the ankle not?

And yet it is free for all to use. I never understood why everyone is so up in arms and ankles about it.
im not angry with PSU doing it.. as you said anyone can...
but why isn't it a five count, if simply grasping the ankle with your hand is..
and i did this ride in high school... and taught it as a coach

Just playing devils advocate here...but with the ankle hooked would they consider that "riding" and not stalling?
perhaps... some people consider riding stalling...
but another question.. isn't it easier to control the ankle when hooking your leg and sitting on it then just your four fingers?
not that hangin on with your hand shouldn't be stalling... but the other as well...

Because they are very different things even though they both involve the ankle.
yes it is much easier to stall with a leg hooked with a leg

yes, only Iowa does that, to those piling on.
i agree, stalling should be called much more often.
in particular, if hanging on to an ankle with a hand earns a five count, why doesn't hooking the ankle with my leg?

is there a glut of 110 pound college kids who want to wrestle
or a glut of 400 pound blobs....
in todays culture those 400 pounders aren't gonna want to work very hard
118 might be fun to watch
400... not so much
most people can't stand to watch 285 dance...

The concept is stupid.
Go to college, earn your degree - then play sports while there.
Not good enough to start - oh well. Next year. Get hurt, that sucks. Move your life along.
Eliminate redshirts.Do we redshirt Tuba players? Do we redshirt chemical engineers? Do we redshirt actresses? Do we redshirt pre-Med majors? Do we redshirt aspiring diplomats?
" But I see some here are not interested in honest debate and instead want to somehow besmirch me or have themselves having fun sounding like an arrogant schmuck. "
as opposed to the heartfelt original post?
