    Eh, Allred was the main disappointment. None of the guys that lost from 125-174 were really expected to win. But if Allred wins that match like he was expected to, maybe we see a different Hutmacher? Not sure what to make of that performance…maybe he was overhyped, maybe he lost his adrenaline when he knew the dual was decided, maybe a little of both.

    I’m not sure this is true. I think Iowa sends him out as long as the match is not yet decided (which would include if it did not start at 125).

    Iowa’s linebackers coach essentially confirmed Brands plans to start Kueter for the postseason. I think the concern (if any, maybe there isn’t) is putting him out there when he’s only been practicing for a short time.

    Brands seems to always want to start at 125 anyway, and I’d guess he definitely does for this dual. I don’t think he wants to use Kueter, but I think he will if he needs to.

    I think Nebraska is trolling Iowa at this point. I’m torn about whether I want the match to start at 125 or not. Having Hutmacher vs Kueter to decide the dual would be crazy. But I feel like we don’t see Kueter if the match isn’t on the line.

    I think you guys are picking nits a bit. “Absurd” and “impossible” are basically synonymous here. I’m picking Kueter, but I wouldn’t be shocked if he got pinned. Hutmacher is a large man.
