    I was lucky enough to get into drop 1 for next week. Now I have to convince my wife that she doesn’t want to go to anything and just snag a bunch of wrestling tickets!

    I don’t think anyone has declined yet. 6 of the 10 teams from 11-20 were going to get a spot. 4 declined outright, so all 6 remaining are in if they accept.

    This looks pretty good to me. Agreed that we need 133 desperately. Riddle going down to 165 really would help us out, with Whiting's remaining eligibility.

    Was wondering the same. Max doesn’t talk a lot of trash, so maybe there’s something actually in the works here.

    I’d be pretty disappointed if Sinclair left Mizzou. It seems like a good fit for him and I like that he carries on the Askren legacy. Unless he wants to move up to 197 and come to the Twin Cities…then, I’d totally support a transfer imagine him, Max, and Kem in the same room every day.

    Well, I don’t think we’ll have to wait too long for the next matchups between some of these guys. The freestyle season is almost here! Max is awesome and Sinclair has developed into one of my favorites too. Both are really likable guys.

    Glad you agree about Riddle and Nelson. I’m still pretty bullish on those guys. With a couple of strategic transfers at 133 & 157, I think we could have a really strong team next year.

    Totally agree. I’m expecting to see him at 165 next year and think that is a good choice for him.

    Works for me! As long as we address 133 and a middle weight too (157 or 165), depending on what spot Millard takes next year.

    Aeoden Sinclair really impressed me during his interview with Bader. Great competitor and really analytical mind. My homer answer is both Max and Vance Vombaur. Max is just a hammer and represents the program so well as a MN guy. Vance seems like he’s having so much fun out there and earns his Hurricane nickname. Two great Gopher ambassadors.

    I agree that Angelo will likely be lower than 6. Not unlike B10’s, he has the potential to throw a real wrench into the bracket wherever he lands.

    Honestly, I think his productivity is very similar to last year. The only wins that haven't been bonus were against Fishback, Gabe, and Chris Moore. All of those guys were wrestling VERY conservatively to limit Max's offensive capabilities. I just think these guys are trying to push the match to ride-outs when possible with him.

    Max has elite re-attacks - you just don't see it as much because every opponent is doing what they can to take him to ride-outs.

    Love this thread. Especially after some of the negativity on The Guillotine after the Nebraska and Ohio State duals. I’m really impressed with how Millard has wrestled lately. Drew Roberts’ development this year has been fantastic too. Ski-U-Mah!

    Millard looked great in that match prior to the injury default. Dual went about as good as I could have asked for, with the exception of Gavin Nelson’s match.
