  1. Yes, she has motive whether that's based in reality or in a fantasy world.
  2. I can't stand the guy but this woman seems to define toxic.
  3. He should ask Kish, he knows how to poach kids before leaving the room.
  4. Different set of allegations, but this reminds me of how it went down with JRob and Minnesota. J tried to handle things internally rather than following the reporting rules and that was enough to get J pushed out the door. If what we have heard so far is corroborated, I don't see how PSU isn't forced to do the same with Cael.
  5. From what I have heard, the Lee family wanted nothing to do with Cael & Co. They didn't care for the games, etc. so let's not pretend PSU is the penultimate for every blue chip...most, but not all.
  6. I've had a theory on this for a while but never put much research into other than anecdotal observation. Speed is typically the first thing to go with age and strength the last. So for the smaller guys where speed/youth is an important factor, you see their performance decline sooner than a heavyweight or an upper weight who utilizes strength/positioning over speed.
  7. It is my understanding that outside NIL deals would continue to operate as they are now, which is unregulated and uncapped. The only "rule" with NIL right now is that schools are not supposed to negotiate or be involved in those deals directly. We all know that's not actually happening but it is the intent.
  8. I always said in college that if I could have played D1 football instead of wrestling, I would have done that in a second. It's easier and you get paid more (full ride). Wrestling could have also been something he did to just increase his football abilities, who knows. Great story regardless, best of luck to him on the field.
  9. @Jason Bryantexplained how bad it can actually be with the old system well. I personally believe the current system is wonderful in comparison as it reflects the current year and current circumstances. People aren't generally robbed very often (by robbed, I mean meet criteria and don't qualify one way or another). https://www.mattalkonline.com/blog/looking-back-how-bad-was-the-old-division-i-qualification-system/
  10. That was the year before merging with the WWC, correct? And didn't have enough teams (4) to be considered a qualifier per the rules (5).
  11. If you're referring to the interlocking fingers call, it was called correctly. Rule 5, Section 8, Article 1.
  12. Love to see it. Hopefully they have their endowment written so an ill-intentioned AD down the line doesn't see it as a piggy bank for other programs.
  13. I will admit, traveling to Laramie for duals in college was not a highlight of the season. One year the power was actually out in most of the athletic building and had to hold a dual in the wrestling room. As an adult, I actually love visiting the Wyoming/Montana areas but less appealing to a teenager, unless you grew up in a similar terrain or climate.
  14. Jore has been fun to watch through the years. Coming from Minnesota, I always like to see them do well no matter where they go to college. It's never good to see guys limited time on the college mat get eaten up/set back due to injuries.
  15. With all of the transfers and NIL recruiting, I have a difficult time naming more than a handful of wrestlers on the mid-major programs I typically follow. It feels like each year is a new team with whomever did well the year prior absent.
