    Also, I admit I heard very little of Stiles before the postseason. Can any Beavers fans shed insight on him making 149 and what any “knocks” on him are? Not sure how big of a recruit he was? Cc: Brain @Husker_Du

    A lot of spec also that Chittum is open to a redshirt to fully recover this offseason, which would put Gallagher at 165. Either way, I think Chittum/Gallagher is pretty even. Not sure how easy it would be for Cannon to make 149. Also heard he may want to bump to 165.

    Some say Bouzakis may try to bump to 149, or maybe Mendez bumps for the good of the team and Bouz takes over 141. Just speculating.

    If we land Stiles I like it but not sure where that puts Bouzakis. I’m a bigger fan of him than most rooting for the Buckeyes, he’s capable of beating anyone at his weight when his mind is right. Don’t think he can make 125, which could be the only weight class we don’t see a wrestler ranked in the top 10. (Kharchla looks to be coming back and 197 clears a lot out for Geog/Shumate) McCrone needs to practice his leg defense all off season and he could make some noise. I don’t think Kilkeary can beat him out.

    Was due for some good news for the Buckeyes. Munaretto, Dekraker and Waters a small but solid class. Hope we can land Stiles and Fishback.

    If you know Mr. Phillips I think they may even offer you some scholly money on the spot. Supposedly rumors are the admissions office are aware of personal or background issues, again just what i've heard. So I don't know if he has any prior felonies and been arrested in the past but that seems to be the hold up.

    So rumblings are Chittum is having admissions issues? No clue what that means but the longer this drags the worse it is for the Buckeyes. Also rumors Waters is getting feelers again for other schools.

    With McNeil going to U of M I’m not sure Ohio St will get any transfers from the portal whilst having 7-8 wrestlers enter it. Also have a very small recruiting class coming in.

    College: too many to name. I’d probably say my first deer in the headlights moment where I was in awe of my opponent during the match was Mario Mason of Blair Academy.

    Freshman year was 145, pretty easy cut. 152 Soph and junior and then 160 senior year because I did not want to cut anymore. 165 in college all 4 years. No RS no transfer portal.
