This is taking this thread a bit off topic, I apologize. Here is the link to the 2001 RTOC program. On page 46 it shows high school placers, from 1996-2000. No sir. I was posting, as someone had mentioned Heskett beating Cael at this tournament.

145lbs. Joe Heskett didn't even win the tourney. The top 4 at that weight was stacked! I believe they all were college AAs. The early Reno TOC tournaments were so tough. NCAA champs and AAs throughout.

Are you certain it is Arnold? Would they save his remaining dates for later B10 duals if they are planning on redshirting him?

Getting excited for this upcoming dual. Any thoughts or predictions? What are the lineups going to look like for these teams? I know I am can be an OSU homer but I see the Beavs being competitive as long as they don't let the Carver Hawkeye environment beat them before they wrestle the actual matches.

Ohio State looking like they are in much better shape than VT.

Had the opportunity to wrestle in college, in the PAC-10 conference (there were 10 schools at that time). Got to travel the country and even wrestle overseas. It was the toughest 5 years of my life is some ways but also the best 5 years of my life in others. Still haunted by some ghosts of "what if" but thankful for all the experiences. Got to wrestle at NCAA's 3xs and had the opportunity to be pinned by Cael at the 2001 NCAAs in Iowa City. I know my GPA and studies suffered due to all the energy I put into wrestling. However, if I was to be honest with myself I know I would have focused that energy into some other non academic venue if I hadn't wrestled.

Same to you. Not telling you what to think, just relaying where I am at with that podcast. I'm a huge wrestling supporter and try to consume as much wrestling media and content as I can. I just can't do Baschamania.

Disagree 100%. That podcast is not entertaining, it is unlistenable. Annoying on so many levels. PSU homerism, religious rhetoric, Justin talking when he should be listening, interjecting his opinions when unnecessary, talk of building brands/marketing, etc., etc... I've tried to listen numerous times due to the guests he has but have only been able to make it through a couple complete episodes. This is also a face that is just screaming for a mean crossface!
