  1. I will wait until I see how Iowa does at NCAAs before I am ready to say its time for the Brands Brothers to skedaddle. But, it sure is looking more and more likely that there will be pressure building on them. If they don't get top 3 at NCAAs, you'd have to think next year is their last shot to get the ship righted. Didn't Zalesky get fired for doing better than them? Its at least comparable.
  2. Brackets were on trackwrestling. Now what happens to Little Rock, Poly, Oregon State and Bakersfield next year? What conference will they be in?
  3. I bet a few CMU alumni are going to apply. David Bolyard and Luke Smith come to mind, and there is no way that Jason Borelli doesn't apply for dad's job.
  4. With a few exceptions, it actually does give you carte blanche to say whatever you want. Now, that doesn't mean there might not be social consequences, but there will be no legal ones. And, its up to the speaker to decide their comfort level with the social consequences.
  5. so the NCAA's comfort with someone's statement is the barometer for whether someone is "insufferable" or not? I dunno, didn't the NCAA let a man swim against women in their championship recently? If that is your barometer, you are in real trouble. Talking about God or Jesus equates to being a flat earther for you? That is a bizarre take, when most of the world believes in God and most of the world believes in the round earth. You have a lot going on in that head of yours and I hope your anger online isn't indicative of who you really are off of the internet.
  6. I will let them know that you are tired of it, Kenny. Imagine the audacity of a young man getting his 2 minutes of TV time and thanking God.
  7. To be fair, half the posters on this board would look good at the pac 6s.
  8. So let me see if I understand whats happening next year: 1. ASU to Big 12 2. Stanford to ACC And have we heard about Little Rock, Cal Poly, Bakersfield and Oregon State? Where will their wrestling programs end up for conference tournaments? Little Rock could go MAC or Big 12, but aren't Poly, Bakersfield and Oregon State pretty much Big 12 or bust? Has this been determined? One other option is the West Coast Conference sponsoring wrestling again, but that seems like a stretch. The WCC is the likely landing spot for the other Oregon State sports. Crazy to think we've seen the last Pac 12 tournament ever!
  9. That tournament is like looking into funhouse mirrors. Schultz should AA, but he isn't even close to the top talent at his weight. He has some real physical limitations when talking about him compared to the top 2 guys at the weight.
  10. Cardenas looks a little high to me. He is a 7-9 seed IMO
  11. If you aren't trying to score, you are stalling. Riding time is a real thing, and as long as the top wrestler is working towards riding time, he isn't stalling. If a position is stagnant, stalemate it. But, you can't really call stalling on top as long as they aren't just hanging on ankles or not returning the bottom guy to the mat. Aside from those 2 situations, it is a logical fallacy to think you can be stalling on top. If you removed the riding time point, you would have a case for top stalling. Until that happens, and it won't ever happen, this is case closed. No top stalling.
  12. PSU is going to mop the Hawkeyes. Its a bad day to cheer for the fighting Brands.
  13. I can't remember most of the guys I beat, but there are more than a handful of losses that I will never forget.
  14. Agree with your list except for the Pac-12. Little Rock's coach is the best in that conference right now. They just beat OSU at OSU and they've only been D1 for 4 years or so.
  15. There is no chance Woods wins at 141. He wrestles too close to too many guys and will choke at NCAAs. I am thinking he ends up in the 5/6 match.
  16. Is President Trump in the room with us now? Show us on the doll where he touched you.
  17. I would prefer a ranking of the actual coaches. Obviously Cael is best, but the list would be interesting.
  18. no team would compete at all, but there would be an all american or two.
  19. no sarcasm. stalling can be defined as: not trying to score. the riding time point means that logically the top guy is always trying to score because they are earning riding time. if there was no riding time point, you would then have a case that it is possible to stall from top position. unless that happens, and it is never going to happen, its quite literally impossible to stall on top.
  20. too subjective. if you are trying to get the riding time point, you are, by definition, trying to score. there is no such thing as stalling on top. its obvious.
  21. Standford? You sound like you are from missourah.
  22. All the pearl clutchers here crack me up. AJ will find a good D1 program who wants a national champion. They will get his brothers as well and it will probably work out just fine.
