WrestlingRash

you are my toy and playing with you is fun. thank you for the cheap laugh.

been hearing it for years, don't agree. yes, the fighters now are better than the tank abbotts of the past, but its the same level since about 2008.

you can't just get them at the door? I would be shocked if they sold out.

Sure, they learned to strike. But if they were looking to ground and pound instead of spending 6 months in a gym with a professional bag holder who builds them up to think they are boxers, they would do much better. Gable Steveson shouldn't be trading blows with a striker. He is an Olympic Champ and should be getting the guy to the mat and fighting the fight in his dominant positions. Chael was a good blueprint for a wrestling style that works in MMA.

The fighters aren't better. I'd take a Jon Jones in his prime (2012-2015) over anyone in the 205 or HWT division in a heartbeat. I'd take GSP over anyone at his weight right now. I'd take Anderson Silva over anyone at his weight. I'd take a 2015 Cormier over anyone at 205. Strickland is one of the worst champs we've ever had skill wise. Also, Gaethje disagrees that being a good wrestler with a strong read hand isn't enough to carry you to a title anymore. The reason there might be a shift in what the current champs background is can be traced to the internationalization of the sport. Nothing more.

Wrestling generates the highest number of UFC champions historically, making up roughly 40% of all-time titleholders.

theres probably a better way to accomplish it than running forward with your head down.

Too many wrestlers hit a bag in the gym for 6 months and think they are Mike Tyson. If wrestlers stick to wrestling, they can mitigate a strikers advantage big time.

His gas tank in a 5 round fight would be the stuff of nightmares for his opponents.

I think Bo answered this question. No, he isn't wrestling too much. Hope he gets the gold tomorrow.

Pointing out he age cheated and predicting that he isn't as good as advertised is totally reasonable. calm down bub

Everyone was redshirting as freshman back then, and you pretending to know what was in Cael's mind is perverse. Last year PSU beat Iowa 32-3, Michigan 38-3, Nebraska 26-12 and Ohio State 36-5. They beat 6th place Stanford 42-0. Their dual strength of schedule is #1 almost every year. So you are butthurt that they haven't scheduled Okie State? Is that what this is all about? You are a weird dude.

Until someone beats PSU at NATIONALS, it doesn't matter how hard you clutch your pearls.

Valid points.

considering he is already 31 years old, he probably should dial it back a few notches. I already told @TNwrestling how this year would go. just watch. its all been done before.

I read the thread and you are being an odious pedant.

you must be a joy to have over for the holidays.

I hate when wrestlers get into the UFC and forget their best skill. Why would you box with a striker? Ground and pound all day and he would have won easily.

even money because I can

0 chance he spends all his NCAA years at VTech.

I hope he does. USA!!!

I respect your consistency and appreciate your stance. There should be an easy override function for these bad situations, but that would be expecting logic from the government which would be foolish.

with the college challenge rules, if taking a long break slows him down, I would expect the opposing coaches to make a LOT of challenges this season.

Bo is getting closer to bust territory by the day. He will transfer out of VTech soon enough because his results won't come and his parents will want to blame somebody.

perhaps had the previous administration had an anything goes policy for illegal immigration, the response wouldn't have to be so harsh. that just one of the costs of nation building and maintenance. not a big deal at all. I bet you had no problem at all with Russians being banned.
